Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) and Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) will head to Bayview in hopes of finding Gwen (Emily O’Brien). Once Claire Brady (Olivia Rose Keegan) tips Ben and Ciara Brady (Victoria Konefal) off to where Gwen is, that’ll send Ben to her location with Marlena as backup.
Gwen told Claire that she wasn’t crazy and simply faked a breakdown to get herself committed. However, faking a breakdown to get yourself committed is pretty darn crazy! Gwen’s argument doesn’t really hold up here. We get that Gwen needed a hiding spot for Jake’s stolen mob item, but there was surely a better one than a psychiatric facility.
Gwen may not be as out of her mind as some of the other patients at Bayview, but Days fans can tell she’s a bit unhinged. DOOL viewers also know Gwen’s got a serious grudge against her ex-boyfriend, Jake Lambert (Brandon Barash).
Why should Gwen care about Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus) and her fate? Or Jake’s for that matter?
Getting Gwen to give the valuable item back may not be all that easy, but Ben and Marlena will give it their best shot. Days of Our Lives spoilers suggest Gwen will relent in the end, so this item will wind up back in Jake’s hands.
Unfortunately, it’ll wind up in Xander Kiriakis’ (Paul Telfer) hands, too! There’ll be a major battle as Jake, Ben and Ciara all try to wrestle this item away from Xander.
So what it this item and why is Xander getting involved here? A new DOOL picture offers a first glimpse at what Jake stole from “the family.” It appears to be a disc drive case or some other piece of tech-related gear.
Since this is something that ties in with the mob, it could involve a way to steal and make cryptocurrency or something else that’d be profitable.
As for Xander, perhaps he’ll simply land in the right place at the right time and get nosy. Since Ciara broke into Xander’s locked case once upon a time, why shouldn’t he see what she’s got?
At least that may be how Xander feels about it! Xander will probably realize this is something important and potentially quite lucrative, so he might as well see what this is all about.
Ben and Jake will enter negotiations with Gabi’s captors next week, so they should be able to pry this item out of Xander’s hands soon enough. We’ll deliver updates as other Days news emerges.
