Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Jake Lambert (Brandon Barash) will have to get Gabi DiMera (Camila Banus) out of a kidnapping jam. It looks like Jake may have to secure his ex-girlfriend’s release from Bayview as part of the deal! Gwen (Emily O’Brien) is Jake’s former flame, and she’ll indeed be released from this mental institution one way or another.
It’s possible Gwen will also want to get back together as part of working out Gabi’s freedom. Gwen will definitely have some control when it comes to this kidnapping situation, so Days spoilers say Jake will be in a tight spot. Regardless of whether a reunion is on Gwen’s list of demands, she’ll plant a kiss on Jake later this summer.
Gabi will be roaming around Salem by then, so look for her to walk on the steaminess. Days of Our Lives spoilers say Gabi’s jealousy will erupt, which Jake could easily find pretty hot! Jake already seems quite drawn to Gabi, so this abduction ordeal is only going to connect them even more.
Since Jake can’t shake all these thoughts of Gabi, it’s seemingly led him to wonder if he may actually be Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash). We also know Jake’s description of Gwen sounded a lot like Gabi. Jake’s ex is just as feisty and stirred up plenty of passion. In other words, Jake aka probably Stefan clearly has a type.
The difference is Gwen landed in a psychiatric facility, so she obviously had to do some wild things to land there. Gwen may be more of a crazy stalker than a true love interest for Jake. She doesn’t seem like she can really compete at Gabi’s level.
It’s Gabi who has deep, genuine love for Stefan. He’s not an obsession; he’s the love of Gabi’s life. Gabi’s determination to make Jake remember his past only comes from her profound feelings for Stefan. With Gwen, she seems more like someone who’s obsessed with Jake and treats him like an object to be won.
Gwen may actually end up pushing Gabi and Jake together despite her intentions. Gabi’s jealousy could be attractive to Jake – and so will the fact that Gabi loves Stefan so deeply. Jake’s bound want that love as well in time. Based on what DOOL fans have seen, Jake may be on the verge of wanting it already.
