Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for Thursday, July 9, tease that two more Salemites will become privy to Allie Horton’s (Lindsay Arnold) secret – which is quickly becoming a secret only to her mother! Sami Brady (Alison Sweeney) remains in the dark on her daughter’s pregnancy, but Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) and John Black (Drake Hogestyn) will see Allie’s baby bump soon enough.
Marlena knows better than anyone that Sami’s overbearing and tends to spiral out of control. Even so, Marlena won’t think it’s right for Allie to leave her mom out of the loop. It’s only going to make matters worse when Sami eventually finds out anyway, but Allie may plead for John and Marlena’s silence – at least until she can finalize all her adoption arrangements.
Allie’s concerned about Sami trying to take over her life and make all her decisions for her. Although Allie would prefer if Sami never learned the truth, this baby bomb will indeed drop on Sami before you know it. DOOL spoilers say Sami will head back to Salem next week, so you can bet she’ll unleash her wrath on all these secret-keepers – especially Nicole Walker (Ariane Zucker).
Speaking of Nicole, it looks like she’ll survey the damage to Allie’s room along with Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan). Allie’s living at Eric and Nicole’s apartment for the time being – and it seems she’s made herself right at home.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Nicole and Eric will enter a room that’s an absolute disaster area, so they may start to understand why Allie wants to give her baby up. If Allie can’t even clean up her room, maybe the baby would be better off with parents who can handle the responsibility of raising a child.
Nevertheless, there’s still a chance Allie will end up raising the baby herself, so we’ll just have to see how the rest of this storyline plays out. For now, Eric and Nicole will join Allie, Marlena and John at the pub. There’ll be another discussion about all this baby drama and the consequences of pushing Sami out of it.
Next, Days spoilers say Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) will deliver a shocker. Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow) and Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo) will be floored when Rafe reveals Allie’s latest idea. Rafe will admit that Allie asked him to adopt her baby, so Lucas and Kate should have some strong opinions on that!
Other Days spoilers say Justin Kiriakis (Wally Kurth) will reel over who he believes is Adrienne Kiriakis (Judi Evans). Justin was taken aback to see Adrienne’s face in the cemetery, so he’ll have some questions on Thursday.
Justin will undoubtedly want to know where Adrienne’s been and how this is possible, but Bonnie Lockhart (Judi Evans) will have to break the news that she’s actually Bonnie.
At the airport, Kayla Brady (Mary Beth Evans) and Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) will clear things up for each other. Steve will assume Kayla’s getting ready for her honeymoon with Justin, but she’ll insist she came looking for Steve instead. Kayla will point out that Steve got off the plane, so she’ll wonder what changed his mind about leaving Salem to take that case in Europe.
It would’ve been painful for Steve to watch Kayla with Justin if they’d really gotten married, but Steve will suggest that it would’ve been more painful to leave. After mulling it over, Steve bailed on his plan because he just couldn’t leave “Sweetness.”
After Steve insists he loves Kayla too much to walk away, she’ll give him a hard slap! Kayla will think it serves Steve right for hiding his true feelings and letting her walk down the aisle. Doing things this way caused a lot more sorrow for Justin, but Steve will be relieved to know Kayla didn’t marry him.
In the end, Kayla and Steve will reaffirm their love before booking a new flight together. Days of Our Lives spoilers say Steve and Kayla will decide to reconnect on a trip, so stay tuned to see what destination they pick.
