Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that there’s some heartbreaking news to pass along. You may have heard about Victoria Konefal’s (Ciara Brady) family crisis on CDL. After her aunt, Czeslawa Konefal, went missing, Konefal posted messages on her social media accounts to get the word out. She was hopeful that her aunt would be found and could safely return home to her family, but tragically, her aunt was found dead.
Konefal just got some difficult updates on the search and delivered them to DOOL fans. In an Instagram story, Konefal addressed the tragic situation. Her aunt was found, but she sadly wasn’t alive.
The death of her aunt, Czeslawa Konefal, is definitely a tough blow for Konefal and all her loved ones. They were holding out hope for a positive outcome, but this story has a somber end instead.
Konefal was touched by all the support she received during this crisis. She wanted to offer her deep gratitude in her latest message. Lots of Days viewers actually got out there and became part of the search. It left Konefal moved and gave her something to take comfort in.
“My aunt has been found but unfortunately she did not make it,” Konefal said. “To those of you in NY who searched for her, to those who shared her missing person’s poster and to those who sent your loving prayers, on behalf of me and my family, we greatly appreciate you. From the bottoms of our hearts. Thank you.”
Konefal obviously can’t personally thank each Days fan who assisted with the hunt for her aunt, but she’s grateful for the outpouring of love. “I know many of the fans actively searched for her and messaged me about it,” Konefal said. “I haven’t responded but know that I acknowledge you and I thank you for taking time out of your lives to try and help.”
Days of Our Lives watchers are thinking of Konefal and her family as they deal with this tragedy. This certainly isn’t the result they were hoping for, but at least they have some closure. We all offer our condolences to Konefal over her aunt’s death and this devastating goodbye.
