General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Lulu Spencer (Emme Rylan) may have just sealed her own fate. GH fans know Lulu recently showed Peter August (Wes Ramsey) an early draft of the Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) story, which he refused to publish.
Peter argued that the article lacked evidence and urged Lulu to focus more on a human-interest angle about the toll drugs were taking.
Of course, Lulu wasn’t thrilled about that idea since she wants something that’ll put Cyrus in prison. Later, Lulu got a significant warning from Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) – one Lulu should end up wishing she’d listened to.
Jason was adamant that Lulu needed to be careful. Cyrus only fired or reassigned people at GH, but Lulu doesn’t know how he might make her a target.
Lulu wondered if Jason really thought Cyrus would come after her. Um…yes, Lulu. A dangerous drug lord you’re trying to bring down would come after you. That’s a pretty safe bet! Sadly, Lulu didn’t heed Jason’s warning – and that may have been a fatal error.
There was an unsettling vibe during that scene where Lulu focused on her own new angle. Lulu’s concentrating on Cyrus and Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) rivalry as the heart of the story now.
Lulu’s hoping Peter will like this angle – and he just might. The problem is Cyrus most certainly will not.
Cyrus won’t approve of anything that makes him out to be less than the cheerful philanthropist he wants the media to portray him as. The fact that Sonny’s party of this story makes it even worse.
If Cyrus feels like this will damage his side of the war and give Sonny the upper hand, things aren’t going to go well for Lulu at all.
When Lulu hit send on that draft, it felt like she was pressing some sort of soapy death button. Since we know Lulu will make a sudden exit in the near future, that was a troubling move indeed!
General Hospital spoilers say Lulu may put the final nail in her coffin during the week of November 9-13. GH fans can expect Lulu to have a tense encounter with Cyrus, who’ll inevitably push her buttons.
Lulu may not be able to resist tipping Cyrus off to her latest story angle somehow. Cyrus already has it in for Laura Collins (Genie Francis), so that’s another layer to all this. General Hospital spoilers say it certainly looks like Cyrus will be to blame for Lulu’s upcoming exit.
General Hospital viewers are holding out hope that maybe this will be a witness protection situation, but there have been other hints lately that made it seem like a deadly exit might be brewing.
Naturally, that could mean a presumed or fake death, but it could also mean a more definitive one with a corpse.
Regardless, Cyrus may target Lulu and leave her loved ones in mourning soon. Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) assured Lulu that he’d stick around for Rocco Falconeri (O’Neill Monaham), so that promise may become more important than ever soon.
Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) can take the lead with Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez), but Dante may have to raise Rocco alone.
Will Cyrus be responsible for Lulu’s death? Will Cyrus use the imminent The Floating Rib explosion to get rid of this threat? We’ll pass along updates as other GH news comes in.
