General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Ava Jerome (Maura West) is soon to experience another terrible loss in her life. As GH viewers know, Ava was completely gutted when her daughter Kiki Jerome (Hayley Erin) died at the hands of Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom).
It nearly destroyed Ava to learn that Kiki was gone forever, and then to learn that Ryan was the killer just added more layers of pain to the mix.
The one constant in Ava’s life has been her brother Julian Jerome (William deVry), and he was certainly there for her when Kiki was murdered. Ava and Julian are a great brother/sister team, and for fans their bond is a joy to watch.
But now General Hospital spoilers report that William deVry will be exiting canvas, and that certainly doesn’t bode well for Julian’s future on the show.
There’s been a lot of talk lately about Julian possibly disappearing and going off into a witness protection type of situation. Nikoklas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) recently offered to help Julian relocate and escape the trouble he’s in.
As GH viewers know, Julian’s life is definitely at stake if Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) finds out about his involvement in keeping Wiley Quartermaine Corinthos (Erik and Theo Olson) from Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) for so long.
And now, Julian is under the protection of Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober), and that could mean a whole new world of danger. Cyrus seemingly took care of Julian’s problem with Ryan by having Ryan stabbed in the back in prison.
But that doesn’t mean that Julian is totally off the hook with Ryan – after all, Nelle Benson Jerome’s (Chloe Lanier) letter is still somewhere and could be read by Sonny at some point.
So, it seems that we’ve got a couple possibilities here for Julian – one is that Julian will simply disappear with Cyrus’ help either before or when Sonny finds out the truth.
Another possibility is that Sonny could actually have Julian killed. And then there’s another possibility which has to do with the big explosion that’s coming up at The Floating Rib in the coming weeks. Julian could end up a victim of the explosion.
Well, no matter what happens to Julian, Ava is going to have to cope with the loss of her brother and confidante. If Julian does die, then Ava’s going to be devastated, and even if he goes off the grid, she’ll have lost a major player in her life. One wonders what kind of effect this will have on Ava going forward.
We suspect that Ava may actually get closer to Nikolas as a result of her devastation over Julian’s loss. Ava could realize through her grief that there is another way for her to get the Cassadine fortune, and that’s by staying married to Nikolas.
Plus, Ava’s really going to need someone to confide in once Julian’s gone, and Nikolas might fit the bill.
We’ll see what happens here, but the loss of Julian could be the thing that gets Ava to actually make her marriage to Nikolas work! Do you think that Ava will turn to Nikolas after Julian’s gone?
