General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) will eventually find out about the sacrifice Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) made. Sasha knew Michael had to do everything in his power to stop Nelle Benson Jerome (Chloe Lanier) from getting custody of Wiley Quartermaine-Corinthos (Erik and Theo Olson). It would’ve devastated Michael if he lost when there was something more he could’ve done.
Of course, that something was marrying Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen)! Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) was in full agreement that drastic action had to be taken. That led to Chase and Sasha faking an affair to push Michael and Willow into marriage, but GH fans know Sasha’s not coping well with the aftermath.
Sasha seems to be gearing up for a drug addiction, which could have a horrible outcome. There’s a good chance Sasha will overdose as a result of the dangerous habit she’s picked up. However, it might help Sasha if the truth came out.
Even though Michael has to stay committed to this marriage for a while, maybe it’d be easier to Sasha to handle it if Michael could offer his gratitude.
If Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) or perhaps Chase breaks down and confesses, Michael might have a heart-to-heart with Sasha. It’d give Michael the opportunity to thank Sasha for putting Wiley first, even if she went about it in the wrong way. Naturally, this could also put Michael in a tight spot when it comes to Willow and what she should know.
It’s easy to imagine Carly and Chase pushing Michael to keep this a secret from Willow. They might argue that it’d be more painful for Willow to hear what really happened. General Hospital fans know Willow’s still in love with Chase, so the truth could make her sorrow even worse.
Willow would realize Chase never betrayed her and only wanted to make sure she could be there for Wiley. She walked away from Chase because of a lie. That’d force Willow to suffer instead of focusing on the happiness she can find as Wiley’s stepmom.
Chase and Carly might think it’s best to just let Willow keep believing the bogus cheating story, even after Michael knows.
Could Michael be convinced to keep Willow in the dark? Will Michael find out about the fake affair and agree not to tell Willow? If Michael’s already starting to fall for Willow by then, that’d give him another motive. Michael could set himself up for trouble by hiding something so huge from his wife, so we’ll see how it goes!
