General Hospital Spoilers: Monday, April 6 Reveal - Cyrus Granted Freedom - Jason Demands Distance From Sam - Trina In Crisis

General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal for Monday, April 6, tease that Ava Jerome (Maura West) will have a little pep talk for her hubby Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma). The two will arrive at GH and get on the elevator, where Ava will say that the two of them need to make more of an effort with Nikolas’ family. Nikolas will balk, saying that he doesn’t want to make his mother endure more of their sham marriage.

But Ava will insist that she likes Laura Collins (Genie Francis), and besides, until one of them cheats, their marriage will remain intact. Nikolas will buck up and he and Ava will arrive on their floor, greeting Laura and Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) when they do.

Ava will promptly invite Laura and Kevin to dinner or drinks, but Laura will be in the middle of something and she’ll brush off the invitation.

Soon, Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) will approach with news for Laura about Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) and he’ll say it’s all bad. It looks like Robert will then tell Laura all about how Cyrus is about to get released from prison.

Laura will be beside herself, asking how this could happen, while Robert insists that Cyrus has a connection. Of course, GH viewers know that Cyrus’ connection is Jordan Ashford (Briana Nicole Henry).

Cyrus has strong-armed Jordan into revealing that her DEA task force team members fabricated the evidence that put Cyrus away years ago. Of course, this kills Jordan, but she has no choice since Cyrus’ people have her son TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) held hostage. This is the one way that Jordan can save TJ’s life.

On Monday’s GH episode, Jordan will come face-to-face with Cyrus at the prison. Cyrus will be feeling pretty satisfied with himself, and he’ll be glib as he stares down Jordan during their meeting. “You got your precious freedom, Cyrus,” Jordan will seethe.

Of course, Cyrus won’t be free just yet, and you can bet that he’ll need to be safely on the outside before he releases TJ.

Meanwhile, it appears that Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla) will be feeling some serious rage. She’ll barge into Jordan and Curtis Ashford’s (Donnell Turner) place looking for Jordan.

“Where is she?” Trina will yell as she rushes into the condo. It doesn’t look like Jordan will be there, which will leave an angry Trina with Curtis. That probably won’t go so well, since Trina’s still upset over how Curtis handled the warehouse shooting that left Marcus Taggert (Real Andrews) dead.

While all this is going on, Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) will get updates from Cameron Webber (William Lipton) on everything that Trina is going through. Josslyn should learn all about how Taggert’s name is about to be dragged through the mud.

Josslyn will tell Cameron that Trina needs her and that she’s going to go find her friend. Trina really needs some support right now.

Other GH spoilers say that Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) will have some questions for Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) about how he’s planning to handle a situation. This will most likely be about how Sonny is going to deal with the Cyrus problem going forward.

Of course, GH viewers know that Sonny is planning to take Cyrus out as soon as he can, but how soon will Sonny realistically be able to do this?

It would seem that if Cyrus goes down, then his organization could live on, and his people could very easily retaliate against Sonny and his family. That could put Sonny at perhaps greater risk than he is now!

It looks like Sonny is going to need a plan to not only take Cyrus out, but also to dismantle Cyrus’ organization sufficiently. That could take some real planning and some time.

Finally, on Monday’s new episode of General Hospital, Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) will continue their clandestine meeting at their secret place.

As GH viewers will remember, Jason has just told Sam that Cyrus has TJ held hostage, and it looks like Jason will go on to say that they need to stay away from each other for the foreseeable future.

Of course, Sam won’t like that, but Jason will probably explain that they need to keep Sam safe. It’s obviously important that they keep up appearances for the sake of Sam’s parole officer, but Jason will stress that it’s even more important to keep Sam and the kids off Cyrus’ radar. After all, if and when things really go down between Cyrus and Sonny, Cyrus could go after anyone close to Jason.

It certainly sounds like it’s going to be a great episode on Monday, so be sure to tune in! We’ll continue to update you as more General Hospital news and information comes in. Stick with the ABC soap and remember that CDL is your place for the latest GH spoilers and recaps.
