General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Monday, May 4, tease that Ava Jerome (Maura West) will push her husband’s buttons. Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) has made it crystal clear that he doesn’t enjoy Ava’s company – at least not anymore. The tension will be on full display this Monday, so expect some smart remarks and hurled insults.
Ava will discuss her plans for the party show off her new portrait, which she recently brought up to Nikolas. Nik wasn’t supportive then and won’t be supportive now, but Ava will brush off his criticism.
They’ll bicker until Ava suggests Nik will be wanting a divorce, but that’s not a move he’ll be willing to make yet. Nikolas will put up a fight since he won’t to give Ava a dime or let her think she’s won.
Despite Ava’s tough act, Nikolas will manage to hurt her in the coming episodes. Ava cares more than she’s willing to admit, so this messy marriage is going to get messier.
Meanwhile, Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth) will be feeling down in the dumps. Although Franco’s a great guy now, he won’t feel like it’s enough. Franco will tell Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) that he’ll never be able to escape his past.
General Hospital spoilers say Liz will give Franco plenty of love and support, but he’ll continue to struggle. Over with Molly Lansing-Davis (Haley Pullos), she’ll wrestle with her own mistakes. Molly betrayed TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) with Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor), so now Molly’s battling guilt and living in fear.
During Molly’s next chat with Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) and Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Lexi Ainsworth), they’ll both see that Molly’s spinning out. Kristina didn’t think it was a good idea for Molly to come clean, but Sam will have a different perspective.
Monday’s GH preview video shows a slightly exasperated Sam asking, “Why don’t you just tell TJ the truth?”
Since Molly’s not handling this very well, Sam may think confessing is the only way her sister can move forward. If keeping this secret is going to destroy Molly, it’d be better for her to just tell TJ what happened and hope he can understand.
Other General Hospital spoilers say Molly will voice her displeasure on Monday. She’ll get annoyed, so that may tie in with Sam’s meddling. Molly may feel like her big sis is too involved at this point. GH fans know Molly’s an adult who needs to handle her own problems, so she might want Sam to back off.
Across town, Brando will have some news for Jason Morgan (Steve Burton). He’ll give Jason updates on his decision to stay in Port Charles, so Jason may wonder if that’s really what Brando thinks is best. Brando and Sam’s latest quarrel will likely come up, but Brando will insist Sam’s at fault.
He was just minding his own business at the garage – and that’s what Brando will want to do from now on.
Of course, Jason has expressed distrust when it comes to Brando. This guy definitely seems to have a few secrets, so Jason should be wary when he learns Brando’s there to stay.
Next, Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) will speak with someone over the phone. She’ll talk about lying at the hearing, which is a decision that’s now coming back to bite her. Alexis will have to go before the New York Bar Association soon.
She’ll tell the real story of her relationship with Neil Byrne (Joe Flanigan) once Tuesday rolls around, so we’ll see if Alexis is still a lawyer by the end of all this!
At Charlie’s Pub, Neil will attack Julian Jerome (William deVry) as he snarls, “You bastard!” GH spoilers say Neil will blame Julian for blowing everything up, but Julian will think Neil got what he deserved.
Neil lost his medical license, but Julian won’t be a bit sorry about that. Once Neil comes around and riles him up, Julian will give as good as he gets.
