General Hospital (GH) spoilers for the next two weeks tease that some exciting developments are coming up in Port Charles. During the week of August 17-21, Ava Cassadine (Maura West) will lash out over that portrait shocker at her party.
Franco Baldwin’s (Roger Howarth) painting certainly didn’t seem to be on display! Franco himself looked quite taken aback over what was unveiled.
Whether Ava’s portrait was switched with one of Kiki Jerome (Hayley Erin) or another altered painting of Ava, there’s going to be trouble. Ava will make vengeful plans while Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) gets news that could be critical to Nina Reeves’ (Cynthia Watros) daughter search.
A call will come in that could change everything, so it’ll most likely be from Jax’s jeweler.
Later, Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) will enjoy some stolen time together. Of course, it’ll be easier to steal it now that Sam’s got a relaxed parole officer. We should note that the Nurses Ball is happening in the week ahead, though there’ll be some modifications due to the safety protocols on set.
Even so, GH fans can expect some hot performances and wild moments. Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) is set to make a major announcement while the Nurses Ball is going on, so this could involve spilling her pregnancy secret. Peter August (Wes Ramsey) should learn he’s going to be a father soon enough!
Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) will also try to win Nina over around this time, so perhaps he’ll sing a song and play the piano for Nina. That helped win Nina over in the past, so Valentin may hope it’ll work once again. Something tells us it won’t be that simple, especially now that Nina’s an item with Jax.
Other General Hospital spoilers say Franco and Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) will finally wise up. After Liz overhears a discussion she wasn’t supposed to hear, she’ll fill in Franco and provide a lightbulb moment for both of them.
Liz and Franco should get the picture when it comes to Ava and Nikolas Cassadine’s (Marcus Coloma) scheming.
Over with Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell), he’ll discover something quite startling. Will that be the tracker in Wiley Quartermaine-Corinthos (Erik and Theo Olson) or something else?
There’s certainly a chance Nelle Benson Jerome (Chloe Lanier) will snatch Wiley up while Michael and Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) are enjoying the Nurses Ball fun.
However, there’s also a chance Julian Jerome (William deVry) will take action before Nelle can carry out her twisted plot. Julian will make a decision that’ll shake up his life in a big way, so that could involve divorcing Nelle or even targeting her.
During the week of August 24-28, Julian will stand by that decision. He just won’t see any other path to freedom. Over with Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard), he’ll inch closer to something. Does that mean Chase will be on the verge of cracking a case or could he inch closer to telling Willow the truth about his sacrifice?
Next, Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) will have some secrets to spill. It’ll be interesting to see who Joss chooses to spill them to. Since Josslyn and Willow will connect in the week ahead, that could leave Joss comfortable enough to confide in Willow the following week.
Josslyn may need some advice on how to handle things with Cameron Webber (William Lipton).
After botching the plan to wiggle out of his marriage, it looks like Nikolas may have to go back to the drawing board. Nikolas and Spencer Cassadine (Nicolas Bechtel) will likely need a new scheme!
As for Carly, she’ll give Jax a reason to worry. That might be tied to Wiley if he indeed gets kidnapped, but Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) is another character to keep an eye on.
If Sasha’s downward drug spiral is exposed, Carly might feel responsible since she never told Michael the truth. That would certainly give Jax a reason to fret over how Carly copes. As other GH updates emerge, we’ll keep bringing you the latest info.
