General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that the cast is still finding ways to interact during their forced downtime. GH has suspended production because of the COVID-19 aka coronavirus pandemic, so the show’s stars are practicing social distancing and chilling at home. Steve Burton (Jason Morgan) tweeted out an important message recently that got some hilarious responses.
On Twitter, Burton greeted all the fans out there and pointed out that home workouts can be fantastic. Jason has to stay in great shape to do Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) dirty work, so Burton’s committed to staying fit and putting in the usual work. He’s just doing it at home instead of hitting the gym.
“Hey hey! Hope all is well.. crazy times!” Burton said in his tweet. “But this time home has been awesome.. don’t underestimate the power of home workouts! #stillgrateful #everydayimhustling” The General Hospital actor added a nice pic of himself in a tank top, so Maura West (Ava Jerome) took the opportunity to poke fun.
“Can I have my tank top back, please?” West asked in the replies. “You had your chance Ava.. settle down,” Burton jokingly fired back. West capped off the exchanged with laughter and insisted that she missed “Stevie B.”
Wally Kurth (Ned Quartermaine) got in on the action by “correcting” West about who the tank top actually belonged to. “Hahahahaha. Oh Maura… that’s MY tank top,” Kurth said. Laura Wright (Carly Corinthos) tweeted out four flushed face emojis, so everyone was clearly interested in this whole tank top incident.
Even a former General Hospital star posted a response to the tweet. GH fans will remember Matt Cohen as Dr. Griffin Munro, whose last stint involved a return to Port Charles as a specialist for Lucas Jones (Ryan Carnes). Griffin is off canvas again, but he keeps in touch with the General Hospital cast – just like he did in this Twitter exchange.
“You know that not yours… it’s my sons!!” Cohen tweeted. He was apparently teasing about Burton’s tank top being a bit on the small side since Cohen as a young son. Of course, everyone was just trying to keep things light and avoid boredom during this COVID-19 crisis. It never hurts to spread some joy, even in the form of gentle ribbing. We often tease the ones we love most!
