General Hospital Spoilers: Thursday, October 15 Recap - Brando Joins Cyrus' Organization - Jackie Signs On With Peter

General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Thursday, October 15, reveal that Peter August (Wes Ramsey) and Jackie Templeton (Kim Delaney) talked at the Floating Rib, with Peter trying to woo Jackie to work for the Invader on the Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) story.

Jackie revealed that if anything, it was Peter who was holding her back, given his public persona and troubles in the past.

Ultimately, Jackie wanted Peter to sell her on why she should work with him, but Peter refused, saying that he wouldn’t do that, since she obviously had talked with Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers).

Peter thought that Jackie should take a leap of faith, and Jackie agreed but wanted herself and Lulu Spencer (Emme Rylan to get full editorial approval. Peter said that they’d work things out.

Over at the bar, Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) blasted Robert, saying that he didn’t need to protect her from Peter, and that Peter wasn’t his father. Meanwhile, Dante Falconeri (Dominick Zamprogna) exited the back door of the restaurant, telling himself that Peter would have to wait for another day since there were too many people in the place.

Over by the jukebox, Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) walked up to Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) and they made small talk until Maxie approached.

Spinelli quickly learned about Maxie and Peter’s engagement, and his face fell. Maxie talked with Spinelli alone and told him that if he didn’t keep his dislike of Peter to himself, then their friendship was over.

Spinelli then talked with Robert, who suggested that they change tactics. Robert suggested that Spinelli make nice with Maxie, while Robert continued his investigation into Peter.

Spinelli then approached Maxie and Peter at a table and graciously congratulated them on their engagement. Maxie was suspicious, but Peter readily accepted Spinelli’s apology, and Spinelli even agreed to come to the wedding.

At the bar, Jackie and Robert regrouped, and Jackie shared that she was going to work with Peter. That irritated Robert, and he told Jackie that she was making a mistake, and that when she found something incriminating about Peter, she’ll know why it’s important for them to work together to bring Peter down.

Meanwhile, Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) answered the door at the Quartermaine mansion to find Dante standing there. Olivia was thrilled to see her son, and as they sat and talked, Dante said that Olivia had saved him by coming to Geneva.

Dante said that he had been afraid that Olivia had given up on him, but Olivia said never.

Olivia wanted to call Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Lulu, but Dante explained that he had already seen them. Dante lamented about Dustin Phillips (Mark Lawson), saying that it seemed that Lulu and Dustin were serious.

Olivia said that Dustin couldn’t hold a candle to Dante, and she urged Dante to stay at the mansion with her for the night.

At the Metro Court, Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Briana Lane) blasted Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) for causing all her problems, but Valentin turned the tables on her, saying that Brook Lynn sunk herself today.

Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) tried to get Brook Lynn to lay off Valentin, but she persisted, and Valentin told her that he liked her spark. Brook Lynn was irked.

Later, at the bar, Chase told Brook Lynn that she needed to find a new place to live, as he needed his couch back. Chase urged Brook Lynn to make up with her family, but Brook Lynn balked.

At Anna Devane’s (Finola Hughes) house, Anna and Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) discussed Anna’s plan to find out if Alex Devane (Finola Hughes) was Peter’s mother.

Anna wanted to use genetic markers to figure it all out, and Finn suggested again that Anna simply tell Peter the truth about Alex possibly being his mom.

Later, Anna called Valentin over, and while Finn was out of the room, Valentin suggested that Anna kill Alex before Alex had a chance to kill Anna. Anna was horrified, but Valentin pressed the issue.

Finally, Anna told Valentin that Alex might be Peter’s mother, and Valentin was immediately convinced that she was. Anna explained about the memory imprinting, and Valentin was overjoyed, since it would mean that he didn’t betray Anna all those years ago.

Valentin finally understood why Anna was afraid of Alex, and he again urged Anna to take swift action against Alex. Anna insisted that she’d handle this on her own.

Finn entered the room and disclosed that he knew about the plan to ambush Alex. Valentin warned that Alex would be visiting Port Charles at some point, and that she’d do it on her own terms or Anna’s.

After Valentin took off, Anna again broached the topic of genetic markers with Finn. Anna said that she needed to exhaust all options before she talked to Peter about who his mother might be, and she said cryptically that César Faison (Anders Hove) was dead but not gone.

Next, Cyrus and Brando met at a parking garage. Brando wondered why Cyrus had gotten the charges against him dropped, and Cyrus said that he enjoyed being in a position to advocate for others who were falsely accused.

Plus, Cyrus said that Sonny wouldn’t step up for Brando. “I’m not going to talk about Sonny,” Brando blustered.

Cyrus suggested that they talk about Brando coming to work for him as a driver, among other things. Cyrus said that since he and Sonny declared a truce, then Brando would be a liaison of sorts between the two organizations.

Brando balked, saying that Sonny wouldn’t agree with that perspective, and Cyrus said that it could help keep the peace. “Everyone benefits,” Cyrus said. “Come work for me.”

At the Corinthos house, Sonny and Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) went through some of Mike Corbin’s (Max Gail) papers and photos. Sonny expressed concern that perhaps he’d get Alzheimer’s Disease like Mike did, and Carly reassured Sonny that the chances were small, but that if it happened, then they’d deal with it when the time came.

Soon, the doorbell rang, and Brando appeared at the door. Brando was hesitant to talk in front of Carly, but Sonny said that he had no secrets from Carly. “I just met with Cyrus and he wants to recruit me,” Brando said. “Good,” Sonny said.
