General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Friday, October 23, teases that Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) will wonder why Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) decided to show up at Nelle Benson Jerome’s (Chloe Lanier) burial – or at least just after the service was completed.
Nina knows Carly was livid over Nelle being buried at Woodlawn, so she’ll probably assume Carly doesn’t have anything nice to say.
Carly may admit she needs some sort of closure. She might reflect on Nelle’s kidney saving Josslyn Jacks’ (Eden McCoy) life and wish it had been literally anyone else’s kidney instead. Of course, Nelle had a lifetime of health issues because of what was stolen from her, so any kidney talk might rile Nina up.
Regardless, Nina won’t feel like Carly’s being very respectful. She may think Carly should just enjoy being free of Nelle and avoid her grave entirely.
Nevertheless, Carly will think she has every right to air her grievances. She’ll feel like this is exactly where she needs to be, so Nina will end up clashing with Carly over her comments.
Next, Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) will stop by Charlie’s Pub and approach Julian Jerome (William deVry). Julian may remind Cyrus that they have no business to discuss, but Cyrus will disagree. He’ll have another offer to present – one that he’ll be certain is impossible to reject.
Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) will glare at Cyrus, who’ll apparently deliver a veiled threat. Although Julian isn’t Sam’s favorite person, she won’t like the idea of Cyrus’ expanding his territory and continuing to test boundaries with Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard).
As if this wasn’t enough danger to deal with, a special postcard will arrive for Julian on Friday. General Hospital spoilers say Julian will turn that postcard over and face another terrible threat.
General Hospital spoilers say It sounds like Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) will send a dark little reminder from Pentonville and leave Julian concerned.
Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura Wes) needs to divorce Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) ASAP or else Ryan could hand Nelle’s dirt-filled letter over to Sonny. The longer Ava takes to complete this task, the greater the risk to Julian’s life.
Over with Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy), she’ll take matters into her own hands and decide she won’t be ignored any longer. Joss will feel like Cameron Webber (William Lipton) will face to talk to her if she goes to see him in person.
Dev Cerci aka “Dev Corbin” will realize what Joss plans to do, so he’ll try to thwart her meeting with Cam. It’s best to keep Cameron and Josslyn apart right now for a couple reasons. For starters, Dev won’t want them comparing notes since Cam could spill about the awkward kiss journal entry.
That entry wasn’t even real, so Dev could get in trouble for stealing the journal, forging the entry AND tricking Cam. It’ll be a real teen disaster if Dev gets busted, so he’ll hope to avoid that. Dev won’t want Josslyn bonding with Cameron either, so he’ll pull another trick to prevent it.
Joss will get duped by Dev on Friday, so he might lie about Cam not liking the homecoming dance smooch. If Dev can plant doubts about Cameron’s attraction to Josslyn, he’ll be well on his way to getting rid of the competition.
While Dev manipulates and stalls Josslyn, Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla) will push Cameron to get honest. Cameron and Trina are stuck in a weird stage, so Trina will want clarification on whether they’re friends or more than friends.
Since Cam believes Joss just sees him as a pal, he may be more open to finding love with Trina.
Meanwhile, Jordan Ashford (Briana Nicole Henry) will find Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) at the Metro Court bar. Once Britt’s peppered with Cyrus questions, she’ll ask if she’s being placed under arrest.
Jordan will think it’s her duty to find out exactly how much Britt knows and what she’s really up to at GH. The answers may surprise Jordan, who’ll feel like she has a real grasp on Britt’s motives after this chat.
General Hospital spoilers tell us Britt will say something that suggests her true connection to Cyrus, so Jordan may suspect Britt is actually working against him.
That could bring some new challenges for Jordan, who has to keep Cyrus happy for now. As for Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner), he’ll focus on making someone else happy – and that someone is Nina.
Curtis has been contemplating whether he should pitch in on this Phyllis Caulfield search, so he’ll talk to Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) about it on Friday’s episode.
General Hospital spoilers say Curtis will wonder if this was all Jax’s idea. He’ll fear Jax might’ve nudged Nina down this path to trying to find her biological child again.
However, Jax will assure Curtis that the ball has always been in Nina’s court – and that’s where it’ll remain. Curtis will wind up making a deal with Jax, so they may team up on the Phyllis hunt and hope that the truth doesn’t hurt Nina in the end.
Sadly, GH fans know the truth will indeed devastate Nina down the road. Nelle is Nina’s bio daughter, so that’ll be a tough blow sooner or later. In the meantime, Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) will urge someone to drink with her.
Since Britt will also be at the Metro Court bar, it’s possible Alexis will want to throw one back with her.
Alexis doesn’t seem to care who she drinks with right now as long as the alcohol keeps flowing! We’ll fill you in as other GH news and updates emerge.
