The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that Shauna Fulton (Denise Richards) will continue to appreciate Eric Forrester’s (John McCook) kindness. Since Eric refused to let Shauna move out, she’ll be staying on the Forrester property and will undoubtedly grow closer to Quinn Forrester’s (Rena Sofer) husband.
You can bet Quinn will hit the roof, especially if Shauna and Eric start sleeping together. Shauna may even end up in a full-fledged relationship with Eric – one that could result in her own portrait taking Quinn’s spot.
Quinn’s furious reaction is a given, but there are two other key players who should have big reactions. If Shauna and Eric’s romance moves forward, what will Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) and Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) have to say about it?
Brooke certainly doesn’t like Shauna either, so she may insist Eric has made yet another bad call in the love interest department. It may baffle Brooke when Eric trades Quinn in for her scheming bestie – the same one who married Ridge in Vegas after texting Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) about the “Bridge” divorce.
Although both Ridge and Brooke may think Shauna’s a step up from Quinn, it’s a small step! Brooke may initially be pleased if Ridge backs her up on warning Eric away from Shauna. However, there could be more than a protective son’s disapproval going on.
Could Ridge wind up jealous of Eric & Shauna’s spark? It felt like there was some untapped potential in Shauna and Ridge’s love story. Thorsten Kaye worked well with Denise Richards, so some great onscreen chemistry was on display.
It felt like Ridge and Shauna could’ve had a real chance at romance if B&B hadn’t been so determined to put Ridge back with Brooke immediately.
Of course, there’s still time for The Bold and the Beautiful to shift gears. Shauna would no doubt ditch Eric in a heartbeat if she got a true opportunity to be with Ridge. That might even be something Quinn uses to her advantage along with any Ridge jealousy she sees.
Carter was able to undo all the marriage drama, so Brooke is still Ridge’s wife. Even so, that doesn’t mean Brooke can put any worries out of her mind. Ridge previously felt a spark of his own with Shauna, so he may wind up missing that spark as Eric becomes the main man in her life.
