The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers reveal that Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) is already on the verge of thriving in Genoa City. Although Sally doesn’t quite have the job she wants yet, she’s got her foot in the door at Fenmore’s as Lauren Baldwin’s (Tracey E. Bregman) executive assistant and intends to go much further.
Of course, we should think about how Sally’s Young and the Restless success might affect the characters she left behind on The Bold and the Beautiful. Over on Y&R, we’re seeing a feisty Sally who sees things a little differently. B&B let Sally sink so low that it was pitiful to watch.
You’d be hard-pressed to find anyone who thought a gal like Sally should be faking a terminal illness and begging Wyatt Spencer (Darin Brooks) to be with her. Sally was a blubbering mess who groveled for forgiveness before her exit.
However, Y&R is taking a different approach. Sally recently downplayed the drama of her last plot in Los Angeles and even talked about how toxic her previous relationship was. Sally is moving on to bigger and better things! It may take some time, but we have no doubt that Sally’s career will soar in GC.
Sally seems poised to make her design dreams come true one way or another, so that could bring some satisfying revenge. Sally’s success alone may serve as a little payback for Wyatt and Flo Fulton (Katrina Bowden), especially if their relationship eventually starts to crumble – as most soap relationships tend to do.
Will Wyatt eventually see what a great woman he lost in Sally? We can at least hope Wyatt might battle some regrets down the road. As for Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson), his name came up on The Young and the Restless as well.
Thomas was portrayed as a jerk for how he treated Sally, which is fair considering how much he jerked Sally around!
Perhaps Sally will score a chance to revamp Spectra Fashions and create some real competition for Forrester Creations. Thomas has enough issues to deal with, but Sally doesn’t know about all the doll drama.
Sally’s revenge would be mostly about proving herself and surpassing Thomas’ success at Hope for the Future.
It’d be nice for Sally to prove she’s an amazing asset and show ‘em all back in LA. It might even lead to some fun crossover opportunities, so it’s wise to keep an eye on what Sally’s up to in Genoa City. We’ll offer updates as other B&B news comes in.
