The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) will soon resurface with a new look and possibly a new heart, too. Thomas has been off canvas reflecting for a while, so now’s his chance to come back and prove he’s truly changed. B&B has bypassed opportunities for Thomas’ redemption before, but it seems likely it’s going to stick this time.
What happens after a scruffy, long-haired Thomas pops back up? Thomas will undoubtedly get updates on what he’s missed – like Ridge Forrester’s (Thorsten Kaye) new marriage once that comes into play. Ridge married Shauna Fulton (Denise Richards) in Vegas, so that news will come as a shock to Ridge as well as his family.
Thomas will also support Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) as she recovers and presumably start trying to make amends for his behavior. We’ll hopefully see a remorseful, humble Thomas – one who genuinely sees the error of his ways and wants to right some wrongs.
There’s a good chance Thomas won’t really feel worthy of love, but love’s bound to find him anyway. That brings us to an important question: Who will be Thomas’ next love interest? It’s obviously not going to be Thomas’ former obsession, Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle).
This redemption route an only work if Thomas apologizes and moves out of Hope’s orbit. Thomas needs to accept that Hope wants Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) and move on with his life. Although Thomas was fixated on Hope for quite some time, there are plenty of other fish in the sea. Who could Thomas be paired up with for a new love story?
We should probably go ahead and rule out Flo Fulton (Katrina Bowden) for now. The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Flo and Wyatt Spencer’s (Darin Brooks) relationship will deepen – at least in the immediate future.
Zoe Buckingham (Kiara Barnes) will be interested in Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor), but that doesn’t mean she’ll be able to shake what she previously felt for Thomas.
Could seeing Thomas again stir up something for Zoe? Time will tell, but Zoe might still be an option for Zoe down the road. Of course, Zende Forrester Dominguez (Delon de Metz) is also headed back to Los Angeles, so that may not leave much room for Thomas in Zoe’s life.
If B&B goes for a Zende, Zoe and Carter love triangle, Thomas may have to seek love elsewhere.
Courtney Hope (Sally Spectra) recently admitted she hadn’t heard anything about Sally and Thomas being paired up again in an interview with Soap Opera Digest. Nevertheless, that might be something B&B builds to eventually.
It’d be easy for The Bold and the Beautiful to put Thomas and Sally back together. They could bond as two broken hearts who went off the rails.
Then again, The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say some new characters will enter the mix in the coming weeks. Maybe a brand-new woman will walk into Thomas’ life when he least expects it.
Thomas has made big mistakes, but perhaps happiness is still possible with some hard work and a lucky break in the romance department.
