The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) has a difficult road ahead of him. Adam doesn’t buy the idea that he killed AJ Montalvo and blocked it out – at least not yet. He’s convinced that this is some scheme Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) cooked up to thwart his blackmail plot.
However, Adam will ultimately have to face the facts. He’s indeed responsible for the death of Alyssa Montalvo’s (Maria DiDomenico) father. Of course, Adam was just protecting Hope Wilson (last played by Beth Toussaint). It’s not like Adam meant to kill AJ, who showed up on the farm to threaten Hope that night.
Even so, Y&R could take the angle of Adam’s deadly tendencies. Adam might start to think of himself as a killer with deep-seated psychological problems. He should honestly already know by now that he’s got issues! Still, this could really highlight those issues and send Adam into a dark pit of despair.
Adam accidentally killed Delia Abbott (Sophie Pollono) several years back. There was also that woman’s husband in Vegas – the one Adam inadvertently killed to protect Chance Chancellor (Donny Boaz).
When you throw in Alyssa’s dad, the knowledge of all this could start to take a toll on Adam – especially since Adam thought he killed Victor for a while.
The Young and the Restless fans will recall how Adam tampered with Victor’s meds. Victor faked his death to teach Adam a lesson, which Adam obviously didn’t learn.
Could this buried AJ secret be what finally helps Adam turn over a new leaf? Time will tell, but things may get a whole lot worse for Adam before they get better.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) will do her best to support Adam through his crisis. It’s easy to imagine Adam pulling away, particularly when it comes to Connor Newman (Judah Mackey).
There’s always been talk about Connor inheriting the dark Newman genes. Chelsea wasn’t sure she bought into that, but it was a fear of Adam’s.
Could there be a light at the end of this tunnel? A way to bring Adam out of the darkness and leave him looking forward, not back? Chelsea’s surprise pregnancy might do the trick.
Another “Chadam” baby could give Adam a reason to rise above his dark side. Adam might concentrate on being the best father he can be instead of all this Newman scheming.
Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) mistakenly thought Chelsea might be pregnant not too long ago. Could that be a hint that Chelsea will actually end up pregnant? The Young and the Restless spoilers say there’s much more “Chadam” drama to come, so stay tuned.
