The Young and the Restless Spoilers Review: Friday, October 30 – Billy Doubts Adam’s Ceasefire – Chelsea’s New Roomies – Lily Blasts Nate

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers review for Friday, October 30, reveals concerns for Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson). At the Chancellor mansion, Chloe wants Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) to stay put and rest on the sofa. Chelsea has an ice pack on her head, but she insists her CT scan came back normal.

Chelsea also notes that blood was taken and more results are coming, but she still feels like it was a wasted hospital trip. Although Chloe remains worried, Chelsea blames her fainting spell on the fact that she’s been living on caffeine rather than actual food for days now.

Chloe brings up Chelsea’s headaches and her elevator fall, but Chelsea argues that stress is the real source of trouble.

Chloe wants Chelsea to let go of the anxiety and look ahead. Chelsea appreciates all the support, especially since so many people think she can’t be trusted.

She talks about being in a low place the other night, which brought on the desire to see Johnny Abbott (Holden and Ryan Hare) and get to know him a little better.

Chelsea says that Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) and Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) freaked out, which Chloe sort of understands since Chelsea gave up her parental rights.

Chelsea notes that she may not have been present in Johnny’s life, but he still means a lot to her. She’s upset that she didn’t even get a sliver of sympathy from Victoria and Billy.

Later, Chelsea happily holds Miles Fisher as Chloe orders some food. Chloe then talks about coming up with a super cool brand name for the fashion line and creating a mystique that will entice people.

Chelsea says she can mull it once she’s back at her hotel, but Chloe thinks Chelsea should just move in the Chancellor mansion. When Kevin Fisher (Greg Rikaart) comes home, he’s on board, too.

At Chancellor Communications, Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) shows up looking for a truce. Billy is skeptical, but Adam argues that he’s had an epiphany and is now grateful that Billy put out the article.

It forced Adam to confront all the terrible things he’s done in his life, so he wants to leave bad blood in the past. “So not only do you want me to believe you are a changed man, you want me to forgive you,” Billy says.

Billy wonders if this is an attempt to get Chelsea back, but Adam insists that’s not going to happen. When Billy suggests Adam should leave town, Adam notes that he’s keeping his options open. For now, Adam thinks they should agree to a ceasefire and ignore each other.

Billy feels like that’s difficult when Adam does things like break in Victoria’s house, but Adam insists that wasn’t him. He wants to end this “vicious cycle of accusations and retaliation.”

Adam reveals that he cuts ties with the Newmans and is petitioning the court to change his name back to Adam Wilson.

Billy suggests Adam sounds serious, so Adam replies that he is. He adds that it’s on the record, so Billy should feel free to print that.

At Crimson Lights, Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) runs into Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) and isn’t surprised she hasn’t been returning his calls. Nate gets that he made the situation even more awkward before Elena ran away from him, but he has something to say if Elena’s willing to listen.

Elena doesn’t think Nate has any reason to apologize, but he disagrees and suggests he was selfish for telling her how he feels. Nate knows Elena is in love with Devon, but she notes that Devon made his feelings toward her now crystal clear.

Elena asks about Nate’s hand, so he mentions a follow-up appointment and hopes for the green light to perform surgery again.

Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) spots Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) at The Grand Phoenix and gets updates on his overnight New York trip. Devon signed the artist he wanted for LP, but Amanda feels like he looks like he “partied too hearty.”

Devon insists he was just having a good time and looking out for himself. He suggests it’s a much better way of life compared to how he used to do things. “You don’t honestly believe that, do you?” Amanda asks, looking concerned in Friday’s Y&R episode.

Amanda worries that Devon is trying to numb his pain and feels he’s in denial. She thinks it’s better to talk things out and offers to keep Devon company over another good meal – her treat.

Amanda talks about the investigation into her birth and reflects on the info she’s learned from the PI. One of the residents in Rose Turner’s building asked who the father was and almost got her head bitten off.

Devon assumes Amanda will investigate further, but Amanda isn’t so sure she will. It feels like this investigation is only creating more questions. Devon reflects on the advice Amanda gave him about pursuing the truth, so Amanda says she’ll take that under advisement.

She returns to her room later and calls to set up a meeting with Nadine from Rose’s apartment building.

At Society, Adam bumps into Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and gets updates on Dina Mergeron’s (Marla Adams) death. Jack notices how calm Adam seems and worries he’s more upset than he’s letting on. Adam disagrees and argues that he’s finally stepped out of the darkness.

Jack seems skeptical, but Adam feels like Jack should understand since he’s found a way to move past his feud with Victor Newman (Eric Braeden). Adam stuns Jack by revealing that things are over with Chelsea and insists he’s focusing on a new day.

Jack wonders what this new day entails for Adam, but Adam suggests everyone will know soon enough. Jack doesn’t like the sound of that. Adam chuckles over the look on Jack’s face and notes that it’s priceless.

Back at the coffeehouse, Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) spots Nate and admits she’s “beyond furious” with him over what happened between Devon and Elena. She doesn’t understand why Nate would do this. Lily argues that Nate shattered their family in one night and is glad Neil Winters (Kristoff St. John) isn’t here to see this.

Nate hates himself and would understand if Lily did, too. Lily asks about Nate’s hand, so he says it’s a temporary setback. After Lily mentions being the reason Hilary Curtis Hamilton (Mishael Morgan) is gone, she says she was overjoyed when Devon found happiness with Elena. Lily’s concerned about Devon losing another woman he loves.

No matter what, Lily feels there’s hope for Nate’s relationship with Devon. If Devon can forgive Lily, she feels like anything is possible. Lily heads back to the office and finds Billy, who asks about her earlier conversation with Victoria. Lily trusts in what they have as partners and friends.

Billy has something to tell Lily and wants to do it over dinner, so they head to Society. That’s where Billy offers the latest news about Adam’s new attitude. Billy will still be sleeping with one eye open.

If Adam’s plotting something, Lily isn’t worried about Chance Comm taking a hit. Lily feels like everyone, including Adam, has the ability to change.

At the clinic, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) gets Nate to acknowledge that the damage to his hand is worse than he’d like to admit. “And it scares the hell out of me,” Nate says. Nick wonders if Nate will be able to perform surgery again, but Nate doesn’t want to talk about it.

Nick offers to be a sounding board before Nate insists what went down with Elena was a one-time thing. However, Nick wonders if Nate would risk so much if that’s really true. Nate opens up a bit, but he feels he has to focus on his recovery without Elena.

Meanwhile, Devon surprises Elena by dropping by the apartment she now shares with Lola Rosales (Sasha Calle). Devon thinks they should talk; he feels like Nate and Elena probably belong together.

After Devon suggests Elena shouldn’t hold back or worry about flaunting a new relationship, Elena’s stunned that he’d be so intentionally cruel. She thinks Devon is trying to show how little he cares about her now. “If you’re trying to punish me, you achieved your goal,” Elena says. Devon insists he’s simply giving Elena an out and wonders why she isn’t taking it.

If Elena could undo what she did with Nate, she would in a second. Elena says it makes her sick and that Devon has been nothing but good to her. Although Elena made excuses to avoid people in the past, Devon brought her to the land of the living.

Elena thought she helped Devon as well and only wanted Devon to feel safe and protected – because that’s how he made her feel.

Once Elena makes her speech about how much Devon meant to her, he asks why she threw it all away then. Devon insists Elena made the conscious choice to cross the line with his cousin – and he can’t forgive that.

Back with Chelsea at the Chancellor mansion, she lets Chloe and Chelsea know that she’s exactly where she needs to be. Adam has pushed Chelsea too far this time, so now he’s on his own.

At the penthouse, Adam looks intense as he types on his laptop. He pauses to gaze at a photo of Chelsea and Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) before placing it in a drawer and then returning to his project.

After a flirty dinner, Billy and Lily return to The Grand Phoenix on Friday’s Young and the Restless episode. As they wait for the elevator, Lily notes that Billy can read her as well as she can read him – like when he called her out for wanting to kiss him.

Billy points out that Lily thought it was best to walk away. “I’m not walking away now, am I?” Lily asks once they’re on the elevator. She steps toward Billy seductively as the doors close, implying the kiss that follows.
