The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Tuesday, March 31 Recap – Victor Bribed Coroner, Changed AJ Autopsy – Lola & Kyle Agree On Divorce

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Tuesday, March 31, teases that Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will stir Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) awake in her hotel suite. After touching Nick’s arm with a red rose, Phyllis will talk to him about their unforgettable and crazy good night. Nick and Phyllis will indulge in more playful banter before Phyllis heads out first to be discreet.

Down in the lounge, Phyllis will encounter an irritated Summer Newman (Hunter King). Summer will be frustrated over her parents potentially getting back together and will rant about them doing this cycle again. Phyllis will fire back by asking which cycle Summer and Kyle are on, so Summer will storm out.

At Newman Enterprises, Summer will try her luck with her father. Nick won’t think Summer gets a vote on his love life since she reunited with Kyle. Later, Phyllis and Nick will get down to the business of what they’re doing here. They could play more games or decide to get serious. Nick will ask Phyllis what it is she really wants.

At the Abbott mansion, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will lecture Theo Vanderway (Tyler Johnson) about his conflict with Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor). Jack will be adamant that all this tension has to stop. Theo will claim he’s making an effort, so Jack will wonder what the problem is.

Y&R spoilers say Theo will admit he’s getting in his own way. There are still some jealousy issues Theo needs to tackle. Jack will point out that he’s not taking the blame off Kyle. Theo will assure Jack that he’ll put the work in so that he won’t be seen as an outsider and a troublemaker.

Next, Theo will try chatting with Dina Mergeron (Marla Adams), who won’t offer a response. When Theo brings up being nervous about a girl he’s interested in, Dina will turn to him with reassurance about being a good catch. Afterward, Jack will comment on the bond Theo has with Dina. Theo will also praise Jack for his decision to bring Dina home for her final chapter.

Once Kendra texts Theo about their Kyle takedown plan, Theo will suggest she should hold off on that for the time being. At Crimson Lights, Lola Rosales (Sasha Calle) will assume Kyle wants to talk about her upcoming getaway with Theo. The Young and the Restless spoilers say Lola will warn she won’t be talked out of going.

Kyle will confess that’s not why he wanted to meet up. Although Kyle doesn’t trust Kyle, he’ll insist he trusts Lola and thinks she should have the freedom to do what she wants. With that in mind, they should talk about the next step: their divorce. Both Lola and Kyle will get a bit choked up, but they’ll be in agreement about formally ending their marriage.

At the ranch, Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) will be there to drop off Connor Newman (Judah Mackey). After taking a phone call from Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) about moving things along with Victor Newman (Eric Braeden), Chelsea will encounter “The Mustache” himself. They’ll talk about the sting of Victor’s most recent betrayal, which was a tough blow for Adam.

Victor will contend that what’s done is done, but Chelsea will point out that’s a risky mentality. It’s clear that Chelsea will be stirring the pot! At the penthouse, Alyssa Montalvo (Maria DiDomenico) will have updates on her findings. It turns out Cliff Wilson’s death was unintentional, although AJ Montalvo did arrange to scare Cliff into coughing up the money he owed.

Since the guy AJ hired was drunk, the mission had a deadly outcome. Even so, Alyssa’s father didn’t want Cliff to die and wasn’t a killer in her eyes. Of course AJ was still ultimately responsible for Cliff’s death. Victor, on the other hand, is a different story!

Alyssa will give Adam some big news regarding the case against his father. It turns out there was a phone record from Victor to Hope Wilson (last played by Beth Toussaint) on the night of AJ’s demise.

Alyssa will promise Adam that AJ’s death was no accident – the body was moved post-mortem according to the coroner’s confession. Victor bribed the coroner into changing the autopsy, which Alyssa has proof of. She’ll offer up the coroner’s files along with a recording of the confession. There are also bank records proving Victor paid the guy off.

Adam will face some resistance when he pushes Alyssa to hand all this evidence over, but she’ll ultimately agree. Once Chelsea comes home, Adam will insist that they “got him.” Chelsea and Adam have what they need to prove Victor’s a murderer.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say another great episode’s in store, so Y&R fans won’t want to miss all the action. CDL will have even more Young and the Restless spoilers, news and updates as they come in.
