The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Tuesday, September 22, tease that Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) and Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) will have a follow-up discussion.
On Monday, Devon relents on giving Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) some info about Hilary Curtis Hamilton (Mishael Morgan). Amanda’s grateful to get Hilary’s birth certificate along with a letter Hilary wrote to Santa when she was a little girl.
Devon also talks to Amanda about her birth parents and shares a bit more about what Hilary was like, but he then insists that’s all he can do. Of course, Elena was under the impression Devon was already done handing over info, so she’s taken aback when she finds them together.
There’ll be more to talk about on Tuesday after Elena’s shift ends, especially since Devon hid what he was up to.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Devon will be sorry for keeping Elena out of the loop, but she’ll want to get to the heart of the matter. Elena will think Amanda’s been too pushy – and now Devon’s got all these old Hilary feelings he doesn’t know what to do with.
Devon’s grief is bubbling back up and the fact that Hilary has a twin makes things more complicated.
Elena will also understand that Devon was trying to spare her by handling this behind her back. However, Elena may also worry this could become a pattern. Since Elena’s clearly worried about deeper feelings developing between Devon and Amanda, secrets aren’t a good thing!
Elena may want Devon to promise he’ll be honest if he decides to help Amanda again.
Devon will likely be adamant that he’s truly done talking to Amanda about Hilary, but we’ll see if he can stick to that plan. In the meantime, Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will pitch in on Amanda’s quest for details about her past as well as Hilary’s.
There’ll be some shocking discoveries if Billy and Amanda can dig deep enough!
While Billy comes through for Amanda on what means most to her, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will talk about what’s ahead.
Phyllis and Nick will spend some time mulling over the future, so marriage might be a topic that comes up. Little do they know their daughter’s already got marriage on her mind!
Summer Newman (Hunter King) is secretly engaged to Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor), but that won’t stay under wraps for much longer. Over with Adam Newman (Mark Grossman), he’ll clash with Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) when they cross paths at Society.
Victor will try to offer some guidance, which Adam will promptly reject.
Adam will think Victor’s done more than enough since he blames his father for destroying his life. Adam’s the man he is today because of Victor – at least that’s how Adam sees it.
They’ll discuss Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) being sent to boarding school, and Adam will think that’s the best thing they could do for the kid. Adam won’t Connor around for the Newman chaos that’s about to erupt.
After Adam delivers a threat, Victor may warn Adam right back. It’s Adam who’s destroying himself now – no matter who was to blame for the destruction of the past. Whatever Adam does next is on him, not Victor. We’ll keep you posted as other Y&R news and updates come in.
