Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers update for Monday, February 1, teases that Tony DiMera (Thaao Penghlis) will offer guidance as Jake DiMera (Brandon Barash) mulls over the pitch Gabi DiMera (Camila Banus) made recently.
Gabi followed up with a proposal packet, so Jake has to crunch the numbers and figure out what he’s going to do.
Gabi guaranteed Jake that once he looked over her business model and saw her branding genius, he’d want to be in bed with her. Although Gabi claimed she meant business-wise, she’s obviously angling for more!
However, Gabi warned Jake that her company might become wildly successful elsewhere and leave him wishing he’d taken advantage of this opportunity. The problem is Jake doesn’t know what the heck he’s doing in the CEO chair.
Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow) has been helping Jake, but it’s Tony who’ll have some valuable advice to offer on Monday.
Once Jake hears Tony’s perspective, it’ll send Jake over to the Hernandez home. At some point in the coming episodes, Gabi will open the door all wet and wearing only a towel. Jake will face a slip of the tongue as he claims he came to talk about her naked!
In reality, Jake will be there to discuss this proposal of Gabi’s, but it’ll be awfully hard to concentrate until she covers up. Speaking of covering up, that’s exactly what Laura Horton (Jaime Lyn Bauer) did – and now it’s time to come clean about it.
During Laura’s visit on Monday, she’ll admit she never thought she’d have to tell Jennifer Deveraux (Cady McClain) this.
Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller) will also be part of this discussion, which will reveal some stunning details about the past. Days of Our Lives spoilers say Laura will break down in tears as she confesses to posing as Jack Deveraux’s (Matthew Ashford) secretary.
Laura sent Tiffany Rizczech payments to keep her quiet about the daughter she had with Jack, who we now know is Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien).
It was Laura’s misguided attempt to preserve Jack and Jennifer’s romance as well as the family and life they were building together. Days spoilers state that Laura will be ashamed of her actions and will know she’ll have to admit the truth to Jack.
However, Jack will be busy at the hospital on Monday’s DOOL episode. That’s where Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes) will be released and nearly attack Gwen.
Jack will arrive just in time to break things up, but Julie will still be hopping mad. She should finally realize where she recognizes Gwen from since she saw Gwen the night Abigail was drugged.
We should mention that Gwen will have a black eye following the punch she took from Abigail, so Jack may acknowledge that Abigail left quite a shiner! Once Jack sends Julie on her way, he’ll pick up the DNA results and read them in front of Gwen.
Days spoilers state that Jack will get confirmation on Gwen’s status as his bio daughter. It’ll come as a shock despite the fact that he knew it was possible. After Jack processes everything he’s feeling, he’ll accept that he’s indeed Gwen’s father.
What Jack won’t admit is that he ever knew anything about Gwen or sent her mother checks.
DOOL fans can expect Gwen to rage over Jack’s refusal to confess all of it. She’ll slap Jack by the time Tuesday rolls around, so some tense scenes are in store. Both Jack and Gwen are sure to be floored once the news of Laura’s deception spreads.
Until then, Nicole Brady (Arianne Zucker) will realize her wish won’t be granted. Days of Our Lives spoilers say Eric Brady’s (Greg Vaughan) return trip home will be derailed. Eric won’t be making it back to Salem after all – and Nicole will have no way of knowing when he might reschedule.
Since this isn’t the first time Nicole and Eric have missed a connection like this, the long-distance relationship will really start to take a toll. Days of Our Lives spoilers say Nicole will get these disappointing updates and turn to Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) eventually.
No matter what Eric’s excuse is, Nicole will have a hard time coping with the blow!
