Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Will Horton (Chandler Massey) will get a shocking request from Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman), who’ll rope his big brother into some film project drama. During the week of September 13-17, Johnny will kick his film project plans into high gear.
EJ DiMera (Dan Feurriegel) will continue to gripe about Johnny’s career path, but Johnny will move full-speed ahead on making his dream come true anyway.
Days spoilers say Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) will hear an enticing pitch from Johnny, who’s running out of investor options and really needs to seal the deal on at least one.
Naturally, Johnny will hope he can tug at Grandma Marlena’s heartstrings and make her see that filmmaking is his passion.
Marlena and John Black (Drake Hogestyn) surely have some money they can spare for Johnny and this project of his.
It turns out this film will stir up some painful emotions for Marlena since it’ll tie in with her possession and exorcism back in the ‘90s.
Days is all set to do a reboot of the possession storyline, which will make things sinister and messy in the months ahead.
For now, DOOL spoilers say Johnny will work on securing the funding for his film – and then he’ll reach out to Will for some additional help.
Since Will has some screenwriting experience, that might be why Johnny will get in touch. Whatever the case, Johnny will reach out brother-to-brother and hope his efforts pay off.
Of course, there’s no guarantee Will’s going to get on board, especially if he feels like the subject matter disrespects Marlena or will make her uncomfortable.
Will may reject Johnny’s request if he doesn’t approve and pass on any screenwriting opportunities to someone else. That’s especially true since Will’s already busy with a packed schedule in Phoenix.
On the other hand, Will may feel like he can keep Johnny’s project from being too salacious and wild.
Since this film project indeed connects to Marlena’s traumatic history, Will might feel obligated to minimize the damage and tell the story well.
It’d be great if Will could eventually come back to Salem and help consult on this film in person, so we’ll pass along updates as other Days news comes in.
