General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) and Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) will have a reason to face off during the week of March 15-19. Of course, that reason should come the week before through the Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth) drama that’s on the horizon.
Elizabeth knows all about the deal Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) made with Franco – the one where Jason’s agreed to kill Liz’s husband if Franco reverts to dark behavior.
Now that the darkness is creeping in once again, who do you think Liz will blame when Franco most likely turns up dead? Jason will be the natural suspect in Liz’s eyes.
However, we’re seeing signs that point to Cameron Webber (William Lipton) perhaps causing Franco to meet a grisly fate. Whether it’s something that happens accidentally or through drastic protective measures, Cameron could kill Franco and have no memory of it as a result of the trauma.
If so, we’ve got the makings of a very soapy GH story where Elizabeth blames Jason, who’ll be trying to protect Cameron. Jason can insist he’s innocent, but he may not want to tell Liz that Cam was responsible for Franco’s deadly outcome.
It could leave Elizabeth thinking that Jason’s lying and took Franco out himself – all while not knowing Jason’s just trying to help her son.
If that’s how this storyline plays out, it’s easy to see why General Hospital spoilers say Carly and Elizabeth will end up at odds. Carly is Jason’s bestie and his fiercest defender.
If Liz starts hurling accusations, you can bet Carly will step up to defend Jason and argue that Elizabeth needs to back off.
Carly may also remind Liz that Franco was dangerous and out of control. She might argue that even if Jason had done something to Franco, it would’ve been justified.
Regardless, Carly should believe Jason if he claims he didn’t murder Franco, but he may refuse to tell Carly exactly what happened.
Between furious Liz and equally livid Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner), there should be major backlash headed Jason’s way. Jason should be in a tight spot as he tries to navigate things following Franco’s presumably fatal outcome. At least Jason will have Carly in his corner!
