General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that the hints are revving up about Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) potentially being Harrison Chase’s (Josh Swickard) biological father. GH fans know Finn pushed Jackie Templeton (Kim Delaney) to be honest with him after Chase was born.
Finn feared Jackie’s pregnancy might’ve resulted from their hookup the night before her wedding to Gregory Chase (Gregory Harrison).
According to Finn, Jackie said the timing wouldn’t have worked out. That doesn’t make much sense considering Finn should be able to do the math based on the wedding anniversary and Chase’s birthday.
It seems more like Jackie needed an excuse – and Finn bought it because by his own admission, he HAD to be Chase’s brother.
Finn knew that was the best outcome no matter what the real outcome was. That’s why Finn never sought out a DNA test to confirm things one way or the other. However, General Hospital has been offering clues – like when Gregory talked to Finn about how paternal he was with Chase.
More recently, Chase thanked Finn for advice and suggested he couldn’t have gotten any better words of wisdom from his dad! The look on Finn’s face in these scenes tells us all we need to know. Finn could easily be Chase’s biological father, so we have to start thinking about how that shocker might come out.
General Hospital spoilers say Chase is set to attend the upcoming double wedding, which will bring Finn and Anna Devane’s (Finola Hughes) ceremony along with Peter August (Wes Ramsey) and Maxie Jones’ (Kirsten Storms) nuptials.
Danger is brewing at this big event – and it should center around Peter’s takedown.
Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) has been programmed to complete the mission, but there’s the potential for innocent people to get in his way. Dr. Warren Kirk (Jamison Jones) came right out and said so! If the very doctor who used to be Dante’s handler was concerned, GH fans definitely have a reason to worry.
There’s no confirmation on this just yet, but there’s major buzz about Chase getting shot in the wedding chaos. Chase may try to stop his old partner and wind up taking a bullet in the struggle.
That may be why GH writers had Chase reconnect with Dante recently. It also fits with the fact that GH needs a way for Finn’s secret to come out.
Finn isn’t going to just walk up to Chase and say, “By the way, I might actually be your father.” As Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) pointed out, it would just cause pain if Finn unburdened himself of his past transgressions.
This seems like a secret that Finn would prefer to take to his grave, but that may not be possible if Chase gets shot and his life is on the line. Could this be a situation where some sort of medical need arises? Will it help connect the dots as far as Finn and Chase’s father-son connection goes?
Regardless, Chase is a cop and the natural fit to step up once peril strikes at the double wedding. As a result, Chase may find himself critically injured at GH. The potential paternity bomb has to drop one way or another, so this seems like the prime big reveal strategy.
