General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) has been making some troubling predictions about the future. On the surface, it might seem nice for Liz to give Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth) pep talks and offer reassurance about his health.
Elizabeth is being a supportive wife, so no one can blame her for that.
The problem is that dialogue can often offer huge hints about what’s ahead. Soap fans know how this goes! Take Peter August (Wes Ramsey) and Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) for example.
Peter is so certain he’ll have his happily ever after with Maxie, but we all know he won’t. Likewise, Maxie is always ranting about how Peter has changed, but he obviously hasn’t.
That’s why it’s concerning that Elizabeth is so focused on this idea that she still has a bright future with Franco. It seemingly suggests their future will be cut short instead.
On the February 19 episode, Franco admitted he didn’t think they’d be testing the “in sickness and in health” clause of their relationship so soon. However, Elizabeth had a different perspective. “This isn’t a test; this is life – and we’re gonna live a long and happy one,” Liz insisted.
On February 22, Elizabeth will make a similar prediction. General Hospital spoilers hint that Franco will want to be realistic about his tumor situation, but Elizabeth will be brimming with optimism once again. Monday’s preview video shows Liz saying, “Two years is just the beginning for us.”
Now that GH writers are concentrating on this idea that Franco has plenty of time and a bright future with Liz, it seems like a sure sign that none of that will be true. Of course, this backs up the strong buzz about Roger Howarth’s potential departure and Franco’s possible death.
General Hospital insiders insist a shocking death is coming up for a polarizing character – and this death will somehow tie story-wise with Zander Smith’s (Chad Brannon) upcoming guest appearance in mid-March.
It makes sense that Cameron Webber’s (William Lipton) dead biological father might appear to him as he perhaps copes with losing his stepfather, Franco.
SOD recently revealed that a couple of daytime dramas had casting shakeups in store according to their own insiders. It looks like General Hospital may be one of the soaps with major changes brewing, so it’s wise to be prepared.
Bottom line, the more Elizabeth keeps repeating that she’s going to have a long, happy life with Franco, the less we believe it’s going to happen.
Franco could indeed be in danger of being killed off based on how soaps usually roll with dialogue like this – and we’ve got all those grim insider clues that point in a deadly direction for Franco, too.
