General Hospital Spoilers Update: Wednesday, May 12 – Cyrus Lands In Enemy Territory – Carly’s Tough Love – Jason Escapes Dante

General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Wednesday, May 12, teases that Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) could land in dangerous enemy territory now that he’s roped Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) into his twisted web.

Nikolas will tell Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) that “he’s”about to meet Nik’s father’s side of the family.

Perhaps Nikolas will expect some Cassadine guests to come into town for the upcoming vow renewal – or maybe he’ll just mean Cyrus is about to see the sinister side of himself. Regardless, Cyrus needs to take his own advice and not let his guard down.

Cyrus recently gave Peter August (Wes Ramsey) that warning, but Cyrus will certainly need to watch his back as his list of enemies continues to grow in Port Charles.

On a more friendly note, Ava will prove she’s a good pal and mentor to Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla). Ava will wonder why Trina’s so upset about something – and that something may be Portia Robinson’s (Brook Kerr) love interest.

It’s clear that GH writers are trying to inch Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) in Portia’s direction, but Trina gave them a look of disapproval when she saw them together.

Curtis will strengthen his connection to Portia once again on Wednesday – when Portia asks if she’s on the list and Curtis promises she’s near the top!

Curtis will no doubt have his finest table reserved for Portia at his new nightclub, but Trina may feel like Jordan Ashford’s (Briana Nicole Henry) chance at a reunion is slipping away.

Trina hates the fact that Marcus Taggert’s (Réal Andrews) faked death drama broke up Curtis and Jordan, but Jordan already assured Trina their issues ran deeper than that.

Even so, Trina won’t feel like any of this is right. She may even admit to wishing Taggert and Portia had another shot at happiness, but Ava might contend that all of this is beyond Trina’s control.

Maybe Ava will advise Trina to soak up these last few weeks of her high school experience and try not to stress too much.

That’ll be difficult with all the chaos that’s been going on within the teen scene, but Ava may think that’ll all work out, too. Whatever the case, Ava will comfort Trina and give some solid guidance when she needs it most.

Other General Hospital spoilers say Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) will have a similar idea since she’ll dish out a little tough love. Carly will urge Josslyn to make a decision, so this could be about a couple of different problems.

Joss is trying to find forgiveness in her heart when it comes to Cameron Webber (William Lipton) and the fact that he almost shot Jason Morgan (Steve Burton). Carly may think Josslyn has to decide if she’ll really hold something that almost happened against Cam. Is it really worth losing a close friend over?

Josslyn might decide to meet up with Cameron soon and fully forgive for his terrible mistake. Of course, Joss will also have to determine whether she’ll grumble about the Southern Coastal University waitlist forever or embrace another path forward at PCU.

Carly may think the latter would make her daughter happiest and since she can’t change the waitlist situation anyway.

At the PCPD, Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) will make it official and reclaim his detective spot on the force. That news will delight Jordan as she gives Dante the warmest of welcomes upon his return.

Dante will chase the lead he just received on Britt Westborne (Kelly Thiebaud), but Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) could botch Dante’s efforts to track down the missing fugitives.

Thanks to some info that Sam receives, she’ll realize she has the opportunity to help Jason avoid arrest. It looks like Sam may take advantage of it after a significant phone call, so Sam may be able to send word to Jason and Britt at their barn hideout.

Beforehand, GH fans will see Britt admit some mysterious medical updates to Jason. She won’t have much hope for survival – at least if Britt’s correct in her self-diagnosis.

However, Jason may push Britt to wait for a true diagnosis from an expert before she sentences herself to death. Jason will want Britt to keep fighting and may vow to see her through that crisis once they’re past this one.

Regardless, you can bet Jason will comfort Britt as they get ready for the next phase of their journey. Dante might burst in the Cassadine barn sooner or later, but Jason and Britt should be long gone by then – perhaps due to Sam’s tip.
