The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Rey Rosales’ (Jordi Vilasuso) mysterious illness will get worse. Y&R fans know Rey got dizzy following his therapy session with Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case).
Since that therapy session was so tense, Rey thought maybe the whole thing was just unsettling and led to his nausea.
However, Rey will feel worse and worse during the week of March 15-19. Although Rey will downplay it as a stomach bug, flu or even something he ate, Sharon just won’t buy that. She’ll think things seem more serious since Rey passed out and seems to be declining rapidly.
After Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) stops by and takes a blood sample, he’ll leave – and Rey’s condition will once again head further downhill.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Sharon will want to get Rey to the hospital, but he’ll collapse before he can make it out to the car. An ambulance will have to be called for Rey, so this is indeed more than just a simple stomach bug.
Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) has a plan in motion to make Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) pay and make it so he won’t follow her once she gets Adam out of her life.
What’s the best way to accomplish both of those goals? Put Adam in prison by framing him for a crime!
It seems like Chelsea had someone steal the missing Adam-related knick-knacks from the cottage and then had someone drug or poison Rey as part of this plot.
Of course, Chelsea is feeling incredibly vengeful right now and would do almost anything to ensure Adam’s downfall. That includes poisoning innocent Rey, though we should note it has to be some nonlethal substance.
As cutthroat as Chelsea can be, she wouldn’t want to kill innocent Rey as part of her revenge plot. Giving Rey what’s essentially a severe flu might not seem like that big of a deal to Chelsea as long as he survives and fully recovers.
That seems to be Chelsea’s goal here – to make Rey incredibly sick and make it seem like Adam was behind it.
Chelsea is almost certainly setting Adam up to take the fall for targeting Rey in this way. This should be Chelsea’s ruthless plan to destroy Adam by a) turning Sharon against him and b) hopefully making it so Adam goes to prison for something he didn’t do.
Chelsea will hope that her plan will pay off and allow her to make a clean break from Adam – and Chelsea would be able to do that with Adam locked up! As other Y&R news becomes available, we’ll bring you updates.
