The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers update for Tuesday, April 27, teases that Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will lie for Victor Newman (Eric Braeden), but you can bet she won’t be happy about it.
Nikki was livid with Victor for using Ashland Locke’s (Richard Burgi) heart attack to gain the upper hand, but that may be why she has to fib on Tuesday’s The Young and the Restless episode.
Victor’s mess could get messier if this heart attack cruelty results in legal drama. Nikki may think the best thing she can do is cover for Victor and hope they can finally put this Cyaxares crisis behind them. She’d love for Victor and Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) to finally shut up about Ashland’s media company.
Over with Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford), she’ll surprise Nick by playing games with him. That could mean Phyllis’ manipulative streak will be on full display, but it’s also possible she’ll just suggest a round of video games and a breather from any Genoa City chaos.
Other Young and the Restless spoilers say Amanda Sinclair will have a new face. Karla Mosley’s first airdate as a temporary Amanda recast will finally arrive, so Y&R fans will want to tune in! Mishael Morgan will be back before you know it, but it’s always fun to see what a new actress brings to the table.
As far as the story goes, Amanda will need Devon Hamilton’s (Bryton James) assistance. The more Amanda mulls over Sutton Ames’ (Jack Landron) case, the worse she’ll feel about dragging Richard Nealon’s name through the mud.
Amanda can only speculate that Richard might’ve been blackmailing a Newman executive. She has no proof – and it’s not like Richard is alive to defend himself against the accusation.
Amanda will feel guilty since she’d be trashing her father with this strategy, but she’ll also know she wants to give her grandfather the best chance at getting off the hook.
Since Amanda will want Devon’s honest opinion, he’ll give it to her. Devon won’t think the dots are connecting when it comes to Richard being a blackmailer. The facts won’t suggest that to Devon, so he’ll feel like maybe Amanda should keep digging for answers.
Amanda won’t see how she can learn more info unless she goes to Victor, who already warned her to back off. Victor doesn’t want to be tied to any of this – nor does he want Newman Enterprises to be blamed through Amanda’s legal maneuvering.
Amanda has made it clear that she isn’t afraid of Victor, but Devon may feel like she’s not understanding how this guy operates. He’ll deliver a warning about Amanda potentially getting in over her head, but she’ll trust her instincts and seek out Victor anyway.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say some troubling news will shock Amanda on Tuesday, so we’ll see if that comes from Victor or perhaps sets up the Victor visit instead. We’ll pass along Y&R updates as other details come in.
