The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Week of January 25 – Stormy Trouble Hits GC, Betrayals & Bombshells – Big Couple Shakeups

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for the week of January 25-29 tease that Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) and Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) will have some unfinished business to clear up.

Amanda may explain Nate’s new Ask MD Now contract and get the signature she needs for Chancellor Communications. However, this will likely lead to a conversation about Nate and Amanda’s brief romance as well.

Amanda might share that Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) asked her on an official date, which should please Nate. Perhaps Nate will offer an apology for how he treated Amanda in the past and argue that everything’s working out like it’s supposed to.

Nate is with Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) and now Devon might be getting together with Amanda. From Nate’s perspective, it’ll all seem perfect.

Unfortunately, Nate doesn’t realize that Elena’s basically going through the motions. Elena’s trying to convince herself she can be happy with Nate, even if she doesn’t have more than friendly feelings for him.

It looks like Elena will receive a package meant for Devon at her address, so she’ll take it over to the penthouse as an ice storm hits. Devon won’t think it’s wise for Elena to be out in such dangerous weather, so he’ll invite her to stick around for a while.

That’ll give Elena an opportunity to come clean. The Young and the Restless spoilers say Elena will admit she has no romantic feelings for Nate and only betrayed Devon because she was feeling neglected in their relationship.

Once Elena makes her confession, she’ll plant a kiss on Devon and leave him taken aback.

Unfortunately, it seems Devon will reject Elena. Devon might argue that this just proves to him that Elena has no sense of loyalty. Elena’s being unfaithful to Nate now!

Plus, Devon will want to pursue his new spark with Amanda, so it looks like Elena will be out of luck. Elena will keep that stolen kiss a secret from Nate, but she’ll battle guilt and may consider confessing in the coming weeks.

In the meantime, Summer Newman (Hunter King) will be back from LA and ready to take down Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope). However, that ice storm should bring a delay.

It appears Summer will end up stuck at the office with Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor), but they’ll enjoy some flirty fun to pass the time.

As for Sally, she’ll need a favor from Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman). Sally was given a marketing project that excites her thanks to Lauren Baldwin’s (Tracey E. Bregman) attempt to distract her assistant.

Lauren’s hoping to make Sally forget about JCV and Summer, which obviously isn’t going to happen.

Nevertheless, this project will at least hold Sally’s attention for a while – and it could bring a challenge that Jack could help tackle. Y&R spoilers say Jack will react to an unexpected arrival at the Abbott mansion. It seems that’ll be Sally who stops by and has to stay due to that ice storm we mentioned.

Y&R fans can expect Jack to pour Sally a drink and get to know her a bit better. Sally will open up about her mistakes and desires for a fresh start again. She may also quiz Jack about his own blunders and maybe even his romantic history, too.

This will bring a real bonding experience for Jack and Sally, so they may be well on their way to couple status before long.

Regardless, Summer didn’t count on Sally getting this close to Jack before she delivered her shocking news from LA. There’s a good chance Summer’s stories about Sally aren’t really going to matter to Jack since he’s all about giving Sally this new beginning.

As for Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan), her progress will give Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) a reason to be concerned. Although Chelsea will have some milestones in her recovery, Adam may fear Chelsea’s overdoing it and could end up pushing past her limits.

Adam might also sense that Chelsea’s only making progress due to feeling threatened by Sharon Rosales’ (Sharon Case) place in Adam’s life. Although Adam has assured Chelsea that Sharon is just a helpful friend, Chelsea clearly doesn’t believe that.

Sharon and Adam’s connection will trouble Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) as well, so look for him to have a tense conversation with his wife. Rey will want Adam out of Sharon’s life completely, but she’ll think that seems extreme since Adam’s dealing with so much.

Back with Devon and Nate, it looks like they’ll revisit the topic of Moses Winters coming to town. After mulling it over, Nate should give the green light on this mentoring idea.

Elena gave Nate a confidence boost and reminded him of all the good he could do, so Nate should decide he’s looking forward to it.

As for Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle), she’ll try to mark her territory when it comes to Lily Winters (Christel Khalil). It looks like Victoria may set Lily straight about who’s the mother of Billy Abbott’s (Jason Thompson) children.

After learning about Lily’s bonding session with Katie Abbott (Sienna Mercuri), Victoria may think they need to set some new boundaries.

Victoria will also get a reminder of the past when she spends time with Billy later. Will that be a good reminder or a bad one? Either way, it’ll feel like Billy and Victoria are repeating a piece of their history in some ways.

Later, Victoria will face Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) ultimatum, which can’t be good. It’s possible Victor will find out about the embezzlement scandal cover-up and make some demands as a result.

It’s also possible Victor will sense that Victoria’s feelings for Billy are returning, which might require some tough love to snap her back to reality!

As for Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford), she’ll share some strategies with Summer and hope she can help her daughter handle Sally.

Gloria Fisher-Baldwin (Judith Chapman) will also hope for a new beginning with Lauren, so she’ll make a pitch to her Society and perhaps hope for a job.

Other Young and the Restless spoilers say Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) will shock Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) with a surrogacy request. Mariah will be asked to carry a baby for Abby, so Mariah will agree to think about it.

Once Mariah updates Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks), she’ll get some encouragement regarding the suggestion. Mariah will have to get used to the idea of going through this pregnancy for Abby and Chance Chancellor (Donny Boaz), but it looks like she’ll decide she’s in.
