General Hospital Spoilers: Thursday, January 6 Recap – Tracy Arrested – Carly’s Jason Feelings – Sasha’s Shaky Fresh Start

General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Thursday, January 6, reveals that Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) got arrested while Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) was forced to tackle her bottled-up Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) feelings. Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) also faced a shaky fresh start, so here’s how it all went down on Thursday’s GH episode.

At the Quartermaine mansion, Tracy didn’t flat-out admit she knew “Bailey Quartermaine” was Louise August (London and Jett Prinzo-Berendt), but she offered enough hints that Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) seemed pretty sure she did.

At Deception, Brook Lynn dragged Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) out of her meeting with Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring), who wasn’t happy since their IPO was about to go public and they needed to focus.

However, Brook Lynn eventually filled Maxie in on Tracy’s crocodile smile and how she seemingly knew the truth about Louise.

Maxie wanted a way to handle Tracy before she blew things up and let Peter August (Wes Ramsey) know Louise was hiding in plain sight.

At the Metro Court, Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) congratulated Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) on her new job at The Invader before talk turned to Luke Spencer’s (Anthony Geary) death. Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) also got the news before Alexis wondered where Ned heard this.

Ned admitted Tracy had returned to town, which left Alexis and Sam fuming since Tracy should be behind bars for setting Alexis up. Instead, Tracy had fled the country and was now back like it was no big deal.

Tracy eventually showed up looking for Ned, so that gave her an opportunity to clash with Alexis and Sam.

Meanwhile, Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) caught up with Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) at the penthouse and learned Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) had taken him there.

Sonny clarified that Nina didn’t stay, but Dante wondered if Sonny wanted her to.

Sonny admitted the “Mike” part of him wanted that, but he felt Carly was his home. Although Sonny hoped he could just wake up and have his feelings for Nina be gone, they were still there.

Even so, Sonny talked about the dreams he had of the mystery blonde and how he eventually realized it was Carly. He knew Carly was where he belonged and thought this whole thing with Nina didn’t matter.

Dante believed Sonny, who wondered how he could get Carly to believe it, too.

Dante suggested perhaps Sonny should stop talking to him about this and start talking to Carly instead. Soon after, Sam called Dante and asked if he could come make an arrest.

Sure enough, Dante headed to the Metro Court, where Tracy was about to spill the baby truth to Ned.

Dante interrupted before Tracy had the chance, so she was arrested while Sam and Alexis clinked their glasses.

In the Corinthos kitchen, Avery Corinthos (Ava and Grace Scarola) was saving the last cookie for her daddy and seemed concerned about when he’d return.

Carly assured Avery that Sonny would be back soon and that this wasn’t like the last time he was gone.

Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) showed up next, so she spoke with Carly alone and learned Nina got off the hook because of the mutual love she shared with Sonny in Nixon Falls.

Carly admitted she didn’t get a real answer when she asked about Sonny’s feelings for Nina, so she told him not to come home.

Olivia mentioned witnessing Carly and Jason’s love at their wedding. She pointed out that Carly fell in love with her best friend, but Carly argued that she put those feelings aside when Sonny came home.

Olivia pushed Carly to admit that she bottled them up, so Carly did – though she still thought she made a choice that Sonny obviously wasn’t willing to make now.

Nevertheless, Olivia thought Nina was the one who wouldn’t let Sonny go and knew karma would come for her.

Olivia didn’t think Carly would expect Sonny to be completely honest and there for her if she couldn’t do the same for him.

Carly told Sonny how she felt about Jason on her wedding day, but Olivia suggested Carly should talk about how she feels in the present – and right at that moment, Sonny walked in.

At Crimson, Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) was on the edge of her seat hearing about Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) dropping the court bomb.

Ava was pleased to hear about the drama it caused in Sonny and Carly’s marriage. She found out about Nina taking a smashed Sonny to his penthouse on New Year’s Eve and could tell he really loved him.

Ava pointed out that Sonny wasn’t caught between his past and present. She thought Sonny was caught between Carly and Nina instead.

Before Ava sauntered out, she made it clear that Sonny couldn’t shake his feelings for his Nixon Falls flame.

Back at the Metro Court, Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) let Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) and Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) know she was ready to go back to work.

Sasha had a hard time convincing Brando, but she felt this was for the best.

Once Brando was alone with Gladys, she acknowledged his concerns about Sasha and was proud of him for being willing to hurt over Liam Corbin’s death.

Next, Sasha tried to get everyone at Deception to believe she was ready to be the face of the brand again.

However, someone from the daycare brought “Bailey” up briefly, so Sasha spoke to the baby about how lucky she was and how lucky her parents were.

Sasha got choked up and excused herself to freshen up in the restroom. She was shaky as she tried to apply lipstick, but she ultimately pulled herself together.

General Hospital spoilers say Sasha has more struggles ahead of her, so stay tuned.
