The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers update for Friday, January 21, teases that Brooke Forrester’s (Katherine Kelly Lang) Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) twist will stun Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) while Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) welcomes Ridge Forrester’s (Thorsten Kaye) embrace.
At home, Brooke will realize the jig is up. There’ll be no talking her way out of this mess now that Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri) has blabbed to Hope.
Brooke could stand to get the whole truth off her chest anyway, so she’ll eventually launch a confession about New Year’s Eve.
After Hope pushes a little harder, Brooke will come clean about Deacon returning to her house after everyone else left.
Hope will worry Deacon pressured Brooke to drink, but Brooke will admit it was the other way around!
Brooke will shock Hope by admitting she convinced Deacon to down shots with her.
Deacon actually acted like it was a bad idea, but Brooke convinced him they should let loose and have some fun.
That doesn’t absolve Deacon since he should’ve shown a little more concern.
Deacon should’ve known it would spell trouble for alcoholic Brooke to guzzle vodka and stopped her instead of joining in.
However, there’s another pressing issue to discuss here – one that Hope will certainly want to know about.
Hope will reiterate that Douglas saw Brooke kissing a man in a red and white Santa hat. She’ll no doubt assume Deacon was that man and push her mother to confirm that New Year’s Eve shocker.
In the meantime, Taylor will enjoy the benefits of being back in town. She loves being able to catch up with her family anytime she pleases.
Taylor will hang out with Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood), Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) as well as Ridge, so they’ll all be in good spirits.
The “Tridge” fam will feel like they’ve been given a big boost through Taylor’s LA return.
Ridge may thank Taylor for showing kindness to Brooke recently and reassure her if she feels like she might’ve overstepped.
B&B fans know Taylor’s comeback is definitely a welcome one in Ridge’s eyes.
Ridge will once again tell Taylor how thrilled he is to have her around, so that’ll lead to a tender hug.
There should be another round of familiar sparks between Taylor and Ridge, but they’ll manage to restrain themselves – at least for now.
Of course, anything could happen down the road, especially once all Brooke’s lies are exposed.
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Ridge and Taylor could get a new beginning when the time is right, so stay tuned.
