The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Monday, October 31, reveals that Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) made an unsettling promise while Lauren Fenmore Baldwin (Tracey E. Bregman) visited Eric Forrester (John McCook). Here’s how Monday’s special Halloween episode played out.
At home, Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) walked in and saw the place decked out in Halloween décor. Sheila appeared dressed as a nurse and seductively checked Deacon’s heart, which was starting to race.
Sheila couldn’t wait to get out there with her family next year and celebrate her favorite holiday. Since Sheila was like a cat with nine lives, she assured Deacon that she would always find a way out.
Paul (Hollis W. Chambers) from the bar showed up with his niece and nephew at one point, so Sheila hid while they trick-or-treated.
At Forrester Creations, Eric worked out a deal with Lauren during a quick layover. Lauren was excited about selling the new Hope for the Future line at Fenmore’s and had time for a drink before her flight.
When Sheila’s name came up, Lauren suggested Halloween was a lot less spooky now that the witch was dead. Eric had no idea when he hired Sheila as a nurse that she’d inflict so much pain on his family.
There were some romantic flashbacks of Sheila with Eric as well as ones of Sheila’s time in Genoa City with Lauren. Sheila blamed Lauren for starting the infamous fire all those years ago – and she acted like Stephanie Forrester (Susan Flannery) was the one who got in the way with Eric.
B&B played some clips of Stephanie and Sheila’s fiercest faceoffs, but Sheila vowed to start a new chapter – just like she’d done before. After a flashback of Sheila with a knife, she jabbed the pumpkin she was carving and offered Deacon some chocolate toes she’d ordered.
Sheila eventually showed off her jack-o’-lantern and laughed over it being scary. Deacon insisted Sheila was the scary one and tried to shut down her plan to get forgiveness for her crimes.
Nevertheless, Sheila said she’d be free as a bird one day and added that she never meant to hurt anyone. After blaming Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) for her problems with John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan), Sheila flashed back to meeting her son and then to the alley shooting.
Meanwhile, Eric assured Lauren that Sheila had her final curtain call and met her grisly end. Lauren felt safe knowing that Sheila wouldn’t be coming around anymore and was ready to catch her flight back to Genoa City.
Back with Deacon, he insisted Sheila could never be part of Finn’s life and that she needed to stay away from him. Deacon warned that Sheila would go back to prison if anyone found out she was still alive.
Even so, Sheila said she deserved another chance and that the best was yet to come. After Sheila promised they hadn’t seen the last of Sheila Carter – not by a long shot – she blew out a candle and let out a creepy cackle.
