The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Tuesday, March 29, reveals that Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) accidentally exposed Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) while Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) offered the guest wing to Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) if he’d just come home.
In her hotel room on Tuesday’s B&B episode, Sheila admitted to meeting with Thomas – though she lied about the reason.
Sheila argued that Thomas had influence with Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and acted like he could help convince Steffy that she’d changed.
Steffy made it clear that she couldn’t be convinced by Thomas or anyone else, but Sheila insisted she finally belonged to a family.
Sheila said she loved them all so very much, but that scared Steffy more than anything.
Sheila promised she didn’t want to scare Steffy and reached out for her daughter-in-law.
Steffy warned Sheila not to touch her and reiterated that Sheila would never be welcome in their family.
However, Sheila assured Steffy of her love and vowed to earn her place. S
heila looked forward to the day when maybe she could take Hayes Forrester Finnegan (Piper Harriot) to the park or the beach.
Steffy thought Sheila was delusional and insisted Sheila would never be alone with her son.
Sheila vowed to put in the work and make Steffy feel comfortable, but Steffy said that was never going to happen. I
n fact, Steffy thought Sheila might as well make her way back to Genoa City.
Sheila remained calm and thought this was proof that she’d changed.
Sheila argued that the old her would’ve lashed out 10 minutes ago, but she was coming to Steffy with an open heart.
Sheila said Steffy had no idea what a friend she’d already been to her family.
Steffy just wanted Sheila to “stay the hell away” from all of them and stormed out.
That left Sheila to fume over the situation and suggest Steffy would be a lot nicer if she knew the truth.
At Forrester Creations, Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) found Thomas talking to Ridge about her and said enough with the parent trapping.
Taylor knew Thomas meant well, but she reminded her son that they had to make their own decisions.
After Ridge left for a meeting, Taylor admitted there was someone else who thought she belonged with Ridge.
Taylor revealed that it was Sheila and talked about what a fascinating case study she was.
Thomas was unnerved over Taylor being alone with Sheila during her visits, but Taylor acted like she was used to it with her job.
After Taylor mentioned Sheila’s animosity toward Brooke, she hoped Sheila understood that they’d stand with Brooke against her any day of the week.
At home, Brooke told Eric Forrester (John McCook) that he was right. She refused to let her marriage to Ridge end this way.
Brooke couldn’t figure out how she got in this position over Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) – a man she didn’t even care about except for the fact that they share a child together.
If it weren’t for Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle), Brooke insisted Deacon wouldn’t be in her life.
Since Brooke broke her relationship, she knew she had to fix it.
Whether they meant to or not, Brooke felt that Steffy, Thomas and Taylor were doing whatever they could to pull Ridge away.
Eric just wanted Brooke to focus on positive thoughts and believe that she’d be together with Ridge again.
Even so, Brooke felt like there was something more – like there was some outside force working to keep them apart.
In the design office of Forrester Creations, Ridge thought back to a group hug with Taylor, Thomas and Steffy.
Ridge also remembered Brooke begging him to come home – and moments later, Brooke arrived.
Brooke acknowledged her mistake in granting Ridge a divorce and took it all back.
Brooke said Ridge could stay in the guest wing, but he needed to come home so they could work this out.
Brooke once again hinted about an outside force trying to tear them apart, but she said they couldn’t let that happen. Brooke warned Ridge that couldn’t be their fate!
In the main office, Thomas took another call from Sheila and said keeping this secret didn’t feel like the right move.
As Steffy approached the ajar door, Thomas talked about Sheila’s evil, disgusting and diabolical plan.
Steffy listened in horror as Thomas recapped how Sheila made Brooke think she was drinking nonalcoholic Champagne.
Thomas acknowledged that it was the real thing and that it triggered Brooke to drink vodka – which then caused her to make out with Deacon and spend the night with him.
Thomas ranted that Sheila sabotaged Brooke and poisoned her!
Thomas felt like Brooke’s forbidden kiss wouldn’t have happened without Sheila pulling the strings, but Sheila wondered if she was supposed to feel sorry.
Thomas argued that Sheila worked to tear apart Ridge’s marriage so that she could have a place in Steffy and John “Finn” Finnegan’s (Tanner Novlan) lives.
As Steffy continued to eavesdrop, she looked completely aghast.
