The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers for Wednesday, August 24, tease that Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) will refuse to bring Douglas Forrester (Django Ferri) home after the Forrester family celebration, so Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) will battle growing fears.
Hope agreed to let Douglas enjoy an overnight stay at the Forrester mansion, but she’s repeatedly pointed out it’s just for one night.
Since Hope is on edge over this whole custody situation, she’s a little wary of Thomas taking Douglas right now.
However, Douglas will have a blast with his dad and some of his other relatives. Thomas will love feeling like Douglas is truly part of the family unit.
We’ll see the Forresters come together with some great reasons to celebrate – like Douglas’ imminent mansion move-in and Steffy Forrester’s (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) reunion with John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan).
Of course, Thomas will get more of his family’s support when it comes to being a full-time father.
That could embolden Thomas a bit ahead of his phone call with Hope, who may wonder what time to expect Douglas back at the cabin.
B&B spoilers say Thomas will announce that Douglas is staying an extra night instead, so that’ll catch Hope off guard.
Although Hope will try to pump the brakes and talk about this, Thomas will disconnect abruptly and cut her off.
That’ll send Hope into panic mode as she worries about Thomas pushing for so much control. It could leave Hope wondering if they’ll really be able to work out a solution outside of court.
We also have a casting note to pass along since Sophia Paras McKinlay will be back in the role of Kelly Spencer on Wednesday, August 24.
Remington Blaire Evans has wrapped up her temporary stint, so McKinlay will reclaim the part of Kelly for some new scenes.
Kelly will no doubt remain on cloud nine over Finn’s return and may enjoy bonding with Douglas, too.
