The Young and the Restless Recap: Monday, March 6 – Phyllis Joins Jeremy’s Revenge on Diane – Adam Fights Nick’s Sally Warning

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Monday, March 6, teases that Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) will get flustered over Jack Abbott’s (Peter Bergman) marriage proposal and act like he just got caught up in the moment.

However, Jack will insist this feels right and will urge Diane to see that they belong together.

After Jack warns Diane not to give him an official answer yet, he’ll grab his coat and vow to be back as soon as he can.

In the meantime, Diane will flash back to Jack angrily insisting he’d never forgive her and another moment when he wasn’t sure he could ever trust her again.

Diane will also have some romantic flashbacks of Jack declaring his love and making grand declarations, so she’ll battle a torn heart.

When Jeremy Stark (James Hyde) texts Diane to insist she can’t hide forever, she’ll have another reason to be conflicted.

Once Jack returns with an engagement ring, he’ll get down on one knee and ask Diane to marry him.

Diane will admit nothing would make her happier than to be Jack’s wife, but she’ll insist she can’t since she’s got a target on her back.

Although Diane won’t want to put Jack and his family through more drama, Jack will protest that they’re a team and will remind her that he’s Jeremy’s target, too.

After they’re married, Jack will feel like they can present even more of a united front.

In the end, Diane will decide that Jack’s right about this being their time, so she’ll accept his ring and tell him a thousand times yes on his offer of marriage.

At The Grand Phoenix, Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will bump into Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson), who’ll get updates on Jack and Diane’s romantic getaway.

Billy will quiz Kyle on how he feels about his parents’ reunion and will understand why he feels protective of Jack. As hard as Diane has fought to change, Kyle won’t be able to forget the past.

Nevertheless, Billy will hope that Diane proves history doesn’t have to repeat itself and that Kyle gets a happy family he’s always wanted.

Once Billy mentions that he’s seriously considering Jack’s proposal, it’ll leave Kyle curious what he means.

In Jeremy Stark’s (James Hyde) suite, he’ll explain to Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) that he saved her after she walked into traffic and passed out on the street.

Jeremy will hint that there might be security video footage of that, but Phyllis won’t think that’s good leverage since she won’t care.

Once Jeremy talks about how he learned to channel all his bitterness into fuel against Diane, he’ll think Phyllis can find serenity in a sense of purpose.

Jeremy will explain his Diane takedown plan offscreen and suspect that Phyllis is intrigued, but she’ll insist she can’t since this would rock her own world – and not in a good way.

Phyllis will argue that she could lose everything, but Jeremy will act like she already has.

As Phyllis leaves, Jeremy will suggest he could find someone else to help him go after Diane, but he’ll encourage her to take advantage of this golden opportunity.

Downstairs, Billy will notice Phyllis looks like she’s having a rough night.

Since Phyllis will wonder where Jack is, Billy will mention his brother’s romantic vacation with Diane and hint about it seeming like they’re really in it for the long haul.

Afterward on Monday’s Y&R episode, Phyllis will show back up at Jeremy’s door and insist that she’s in!

Other Y&R spoilers say Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) will spot Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier) at Crimson Lights, so she’ll admit she’s pregnant since Summer should probably hear this news from her.

Summer will assume the baby is Nick Newman’s (Joshua Morrow), but Sally will ultimately confess Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) is the father.

Of course, Sally will make it clear that sleeping together one last time was about saying goodbye to Adam, so she’ll insist she told Nick immediately and that he understands.

Summer will think it’s best for Sally and Nick to go their separate ways and will call Sally selfish when she insists they’re still a couple.

From Summer’s perspective, Sally will just be using Nick as a shield to protect herself from Adam.

Summer will hint that maybe Sally is scared of falling for Adam again, but she’ll feel like this is unfair to Nick since he doesn’t deserve all this chaos.

Despite Sally’s attempts to defend her romance, Summer will insist chaos is indeed all Sally seems capable of creating.

At Society, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will join Adam as a table while he waits for his takeout order.

That’ll give Nick a chance to talk to Adam about the situation with Sally and her baby.

Nick will get that Adam’s in a tough spot and won’t be concerned about his relationship with Sally since it’s solid.

That said, Nick will worry about Sally’s well-being and where the line gets drawn with Adam.

Adam will assume Nick thinks he gets to draw that line, but Nick will be pretty sure Adam’s going to use this situation to insinuate himself back into Sally’s world.

Once Nick brings up Adam pushing to attend Sally’s doctor’s appointments and ultrasounds, he’ll express concern about Sally’s stress level.

Adam will suggest Nick claims to understand he has a role as the father, but this also sounds like a warning to “back the hell off.”

Nick will deny threatening him and will urge Adam to ask himself if it’s fair to put what he wants over what Sally needs.

Adam will insist that he’s changed a lot over these past few months and will talk about Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) perhaps being the only one in the family who sees his true nature.

According to Adam, he’ll think maybe Victor understands him better than anyone – even Adam himself.

Adam will also reflect on dealing with his breakup from Sally and leaving his unfulfilling role at Jabot.

Chelsea Lawson’s (Melissa Claire Egan) struggles changed Adam too, so he’ll act like he’s ready to meet people halfway.

After Adam recalls how Nick previously reached out with decency and gave him the chance to be a better man, he’ll admit he couldn’t rise to the occasion then.

“But I think it’s time to try again,” Adam will insist as he leaves.
