The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Christine Blair (Lauralee Bell) will really get into the Christmas spirit this year. After all, Christine has a lot to be grateful for now that she’s reconnecting with Danny Romalotti (Michael Damian).
Although Christine is still trying to heal after her split from Paul Williams (Doug Davidson), she’s really enjoying her revived romance with Danny.
Both Christine and Danny are eager to see where their reunion might lead.
Once Christine selects a special gift for Danny during the week of December 18-22, she’ll have Lauren Fenmore Baldwin (Tracey E. Bregman) wrap it up and deliver it to her at Society.
It turns out this particular present will be a nod to the past.
It’ll be something that’s sure to bring back warm memories, so Lauren will assure Christine that Danny’s going to flip.
Of course, Lauren will want all the juicy gossip on Christine and Danny’s reconnection, but Christine will point out that things aren’t serious yet.
Danny and Christine are still testing the waters, but they’re on the same page about taking advantage of this second chance.
However, there’s one problem that’s already been popping up lately – and her name is Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford)!
Although Danny has made it clear to Christine that he’s just friends with Phyllis, Christine still doesn’t like having to deal with her all the time.
When Christine visits Daniel Romalotti Jr.’s (Michael Graziadei) penthouse to give Danny the gift she purchased, she’ll pause at the door and wonder if this is really such a good idea.
Christine will hear Danny leading some Christmas carols inside and know that Phyllis might be part of this family gathering.
After debating it for a moment, Christine will indeed knock and hope for the best.
As luck would have it, Phyllis will be the one who answers the door. We’ll see Phyllis flash a fake grin and pretend to give “Cricket” a warm welcome, but Christine won’t buy her act.
Phyllis may not be as grumpy as The Grinch, but she’ll still serve that kind of role for Christine by threatening to ruin her holiday fun!
Despite Christine’s issues with Phyllis, Y&R spoilers say she’ll choose to stick around and become part of this gathering.
Phyllis, Danny, Christine, Daniel, Heather Stevens (Vail Bloom), Lucy Romalotti (Lily Brooks O’Briant) and Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) will all attend this gathering, so stay tuned for updates on their celebration.
