The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for the week of January 16-20 tease that Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) will put a lot on the line as all the Jeremy Stark (James Hyde) drama continues. Jeremy has given Diane a strict deadline to prove herself, so she’ll have to work fast.
Viewers will recall that Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) offered to take the lead on stealing some of Nikki Newman’s (Melody Thomas Scott) jewelry, but Diane struggled over the idea of him being that involved.
No matter how all this plays out, there’ll still be major risks for Diane.
Stealing from a fierce enemy like Nikki is a gamble anyway, but trying to pass Jack’s theft off as her own could be risky for Diane, too.
That’s what Jack wants Diane to do, but Y&R spoilers say Jeremy could get suspicious.
There’s the potential for Jeremy to turn on Diane if he believes she broke the rules of his loyalty test and didn’t deliver on her promise.
While Diane faces a terrifying situation, Summer and Daniel Romalotti Jr (Michael Graziadei) will have a meeting regarding their mom.
There’ll be some concerns about Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) going off the rails and perhaps letting her vengeful side take over again.
Phyllis still feels like Diane should pay and will be looking for new ways to make that happen in the coming episodes.
That could lead to Phyllis officially joining forces with Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John), but Summer will fear the worst regardless.
As Summer and Daniel fret over the trouble Phyllis might land in, Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will land in some trouble of his own.
That’ll be due to Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) desire to watch Adam fail and get him back in line.
Victor will be willing to play dirty, so that could involve a new scheme that’s cooking with Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor).
If Victor can get Adam kicked out of Jabot through some epic failure there, it’ll fit right in with his plot to bring Adam back home to Newman Enterprises.
Of course, Victor will still need to come up with an incentive to lure Adam back to the family business, so that’s something he’ll have to nail down.
Victor will make some updates to what Newman Enterprises has to offer and deliver some big news to Adam eventually.
Meanwhile, Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) will once again turn to Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) for support.
Sharon may lend an ear during their next supper club meeting as they sample a new cuisine and grow closer.
As Chance tries to heal following his divorce from Abby Newman-Abbott (Melissa Ordway), he’ll strengthen his connection with Sharon and lay the groundwork for a new romance.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Sharon and Chance could be a hot new couple when the time is right, so stay tuned!
