The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Michelle Stafford (Phyllis Summers) recently had to fish something unpleasant out of her pool, so she shared a video of the whole disgusting ordeal on Instagram.
After Stafford realized a rat had apparently drowned, she had to tackle the challenge of removing it with a net and getting it into a trash bag.
That was no easy task, so the situation proved rather comical – especially with the funny music Stafford added to her video.
Stafford could be seen struggling and laughing throughout her little adventure, so fans were definitely interested in watching it all go down.
There’s plenty of chaos happening in Genoa City on any given day, but this pool cleaning drama offered an hilarious peek into Michelle Stafford’s real life.
Stafford offered a caption that involved comparing “#ratsinapool” to “#snakesonaplane” before telling her followers to enjoy. Many of us indeed enjoyed watching all the pool shenanigans as Stafford tried to get rid of the rat.
In the comments, one person pointed out that it was better to have a rat dead in the pool than running alive in the house. Stafford replied to the user and admitted that was true.
Someone else even joked that maybe Christine Blair (Lauralee Bell) was responsible for dumping the rat there since Phyllis put an octopus in Christine’s bed once upon a time.
Some of Stafford’s Y&R costars also commented on the dilemma, including Elizabeth Hendrickson (Chloe Mitchell) since she seemingly thought Christian LeBlanc (Michael Baldwin) could’ve pitched in if he’d been there.
“Ommmggggg. Wait did you call Christian to do it ?? Hahah that would be a great part 2,” Hendrickson said. That got a laugh out of Stafford in her own reply.
As for Greg Rikaart (Kevin Fisher), he acknowledged that he would’ve been “zero help” if he’d been part of this pool fiasco.
Although Michelle Stafford confessed it was a “bad day” for the rat, it certainly made for a wild experience and a fun Instagram post.
