The Young and the Restless spoilers tease that Mia Rosales (Noemi Gonzalez) will start to feel the walls closing in. She was seriously rattled when Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) revealed that she knew Mia was Lola Rosales’ (Sasha Calle) attacker. Mia seemed sure that Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) would keep that secret, and she was dead wrong.
But that level of stress will be nothing compared to what Mia will feel once Paul Williams (Doug Davidson) gets on her case. Paul is hell-bent on solving the case of Lola’s assault, and he considers the attack to be attempted murder. Mia’s facing some serious charges that could put her in jail for a very long time.
Y&R spoilers indicate that Paul is closing in on Mia, and fast. Y&R previews show Paul and some cops busting into Mia’s hotel room, with Paul announcing that Mia is under arrest for attempted murder. It looks like a bad scene for Mia, and she won’t be able to get out of this situation by insisting that she’s pregnant, like she did with Rey.
Other Y&R spoilers say that Mia won’t remain pregnant for long, which can only mean that Mia will lose the baby. The pressure of the arrest for Lola’s attempted murder may be too much for her. She’s already had one bout of abdominal pain while with Sharon a while back, which was probably a foreshadowing of problems to come.
Of course, once Mia loses the baby, then she’s really going to be in trouble. Any hope for mercy on her attempted murder charges will probably be out the window. Plus, she’ll lose any hold she may have had over Rey. Y&R viewers know that Mia has been holding out hope that her baby is Rey’s, so that she has some lasting connection to him, but it looks like that will be out the window, too.
All of these developments shouldn’t be too surprising for Y&R viewers, though, since Noemi Gonzalez is soon leaving the show. She’s already taped her last scenes, and losing the baby was really necessary to wrap up her storyline without any loose ends. At this point, the big question is how she’ll end up leaving the show.
Of course, one possibility is that she’ll go to jail for Lola’s assault, and that will be the end of it. Or, she could flee Genoa City and become a fugitive. Since Jason Canela, who portrays Arturo Rosales, is also leaving Y&R, it’s possible that their characters could leave together. Viewers will have to wait to see what happens there.
