General Hospital (GH) spoilers hint that a Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) takedown alliance could be looming. Will this ultimately become Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison), Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) path to peace?
GH writers turned a once kindhearted character into a monster with Drew’s latest character transformation.
However, Drew can perhaps be redeemed if he finally heads down a different road.
Of course, things may get worse before they get better!
Drew isn’t going to change overnight, especially when he’s spinning out over Willow Tait’s (Katelyn MacMullen) arrest and determined to send Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) to prison instead.
That said, even the fiercest enemies can eventually become allies on soaps.
There’s room for Drew to grow, especially now that Sidwell is exerting so much control over him.
Ava Jerome (Maura West) and Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) stopped short of hugging it out, but they came further than anyone ever thought possible when they apologized for their vendettas and shook hands in the October 14 episode.
Kristina, Ava and Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) came together through their plot against Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst), so maybe Drew could find himself in a similar situation with Jason and Sonny somewhere down the line.
Sidwell is a true villain who’s only going to get more powerful and bolder in his strategies.
At some point, Sidwell’s foes may decide he simply must be stopped – and that could set the stage for Drew to potentially team up with Sonny and Jason.
If the writers want to bring the three of them together in a shocking alliance, having Jason, Sonny and Drew join forces against Sidwell would be the way to go.
Sidwell is capable of horrible things and has vowed to totally derail Drew’s life if he doesn’t follow orders.
Drew might get desperate enough to make Sonny and Jason his allies if Sidwell pushes him too far.
