General Hospital (GH) spoilers hint that Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) might undergo hypnosis for his missing memory. Will Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) help reveal the true shooter?
In the December 9 episode, Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) got Drew to walk her through the night of the shooting since he’s going to face questions in court.
Drew recapped everything he recalled and said that after the last shot, he had nothing.
When Alexis sought confirmation that was the last thing Drew remembered, he had an intriguing reaction.
“Yes. Wait, no…there is something else,” Drew confessed.
However, whatever vague memory Drew might’ve had seemed to vanish just as quickly.
Drew admitted he thought he had something, but he decided he didn’t in the end.
Willow Cain (Katelyn MacMullen) wondered if Drew might’ve seen or heard something, but Drew didn’t know.
Something in Drew just wanted to say no when Alexis asked if that was the last thing he recalled, but he seemingly couldn’t access it.
Alexis argued that Drew’s job was to find that memory because it could tell them who shot him.
Drew went on another tirade about Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) being responsible, but Alexis doesn’t want him ranting about that on the stand.
Drew previously admitted to Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) that he believed Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) was to blame, but he obviously doesn’t know anything for sure.
Curtis backed out of the hit he ordered on Drew since he never paid Selina Wu (Lydia Look), so it doesn’t seem like he’s at fault.
At some point, Drew might decide Alexis is right about needing to unlock that missing memory.
If it’s truly the key to who shot Drew, then he might decide it could also be the key to exonerating Willow.
GH spoilers say Drew will get a stunning offer on December 11, so what if that involves an offer of hypnosis?
Jon Lindstrom filmed multiple shows as Dr. Kevin Collins, so maybe he could offer to hypnotize Drew and try to dig up the memory he’s holding back.
There may be a very good reason why Drew stuffed that memory down.
Could it mean Willow herself really did shoot Drew?
Willow did seem a bit on edge over the idea of Drew remembering something else, so that’s worth keeping in mind.
Drew’s brain might be protecting himself from the knowledge that Willow – his new bride and the woman he’s built his world around – actually tried to wipe him off the map.
Then again, maybe this is just about keeping GH fans in the dark on another puzzle piece or delivering a wild shooter twist.
Regardless, hypnosis could be an interesting next step in this storyline.
