Will Selena Gomez and George Shelley ever get together? Although many fans were all for this coupling, it looks like the duo hasn’t made it official.
George’s bandmates have spoken out about the situation, and they say that George and Selena are not dating – at least, not ‘officially’. Although we know George has a crush on Selena, George’s bandmates told Metro, “They are just friends. It’s not our place to discuss, but they are friends and, obviously, George will say what he wants to say about the situation.”
So while Union J and George did hang out with Selena in the past, and Selena may or may not have told George to call her, George’s friends are still sticking with the official party line of ‘not dating’. But isn’t that what they’re supposed to say, regardless of the truth? George and Selena may be trying to keep it quiet, not least because they may not even be sure about their status. I mean, whatever’s going on between them is clearly still very new, and they might not want the tabloids to start rumor-mongering.
And even if this thing with George doesn’t work out for Selena, Harry Styles is always around. Can you imagine Taylor Swift‘s face if Selena and Harry were to ever start dating? But I have a feeling Selena’s too good a friend to ever do that to Taylor – and it’s too bad, because it would have given us the entertainment story of the year if it actually happened.
What do you guys think about Selena and George possibly dating/possibly not dating? Although they would be adorable together, I think it’s a no-go for now, although I wouldn’t bet on nothing happening in the future.
