It’s no secret that the cast of The Young and the Restless are dropping like flies, in the past six months there have been multiple cast shake-ups and casting shocks. By the end of 2014 Y&R fans are not even going to recognize any of the characters on the popular daytime soap opera. Y&R fans are still coping with the loss of Michael Muhney and Billy Miller, and just weeks ago Elizabeth Hendrickson confirmed she too is leaving The Young and the Restless.
So, where are all of our favorite Young and the Restless cast members headed? Well, this is pure speculation, but a recent report hinted Hendrickson and Miller would make a great addition to ABC’s soap opera General Hospital.
Any long-time GH fans will tell you that back in the day Robin Scorpio-Drake and Jason Morgan were a General Hospital power couple. Recently Steve Burton left GH because he was stolen by Jill Farren Phelps at Y&R and Kimberly McCullough left GH again after a short return as her character was written out of Port Charles. A few weeks ago Robin left Port Charles to save Jason Morgan, implying that they may be returning at some point. Since Steve and Kimberly no longer have contracts with ABC, it is reasonable to assume that when the Robin Scorpio-Drake and Jason Morgan return to town they will be played by different actors.
Who do you want to see take on the roles of Robin and Jason Morgan? We are huge supporters of Y&R alums Elizabeth Hendrickson and Billy Miller joining General Hospital. Elizabeth and Billy had a daughter together on The Young and the Restless, and their quirky chemistry was undeniable, we would hate to see it go to waste. It makes perfect sense that the Y&R couple be reunited on General Hospital as Robin and Morgan.
