The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills returns to Bravo tonight with all new December 2, season 5 episode 3 called, “Pay Attention to Me!” and we have your weekly recap below. Tonight, Lisa Vanderpump throws Lisa Rinna a private birthday dinner at PUMP, and Lisa Rinna’s husband shows up just in time with just the right gift. Brandi is settling into her new home, but is still dealing with old drama from her ex- husband.
On the last episode, Kim and some hunky movers helped Brandi move into her new house, but Brandi was more interested in the guys’ abs than unpacking boxes. Kyle and her family jetted to Lake Tahoe in a private plane while Yolanda surprised David with a very special, and very revealing, dinner. Kim and Brandi celebrated being BFFs by dressing up in disguise to spy on Brandi’s ex-boyfriend, J.R. Did you watch the last episode? Tonight’s episode of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills kicks off with Lisa Rhinna at her house, her mom calls her to wish her a happy birthday – she informs her she is going to Lisa Vanderpump’s restaurant for her birthday dinner. Lisa starts getting ready for dinner and asks her daughters for advice on her outfit – and they inform her she shouldn’t wear the shoes she has on.
At Yolanda’s house her daughter Gigi arrives at home and she has brought her friends Sabrina along. She informs her mom that she can only stay for three days – and then she is off to Europe for another job and will be away for a month. Gigi sits down with her mom and fills her in on all of her new gigs. Yolanda is proud of all of the things that she is accomplishing.
Lisa heads to Pump with her husband Ken and checks in on her employees while she is waiting for Lissa to arrive for her birthday dinner. Lisa finally shows up and reveals that her husband is going to be late and is still on a plane headed home from Vancouver. Kyle arrives with her husband Mauricio, a few more of Lisa’s friends arrive and then they all sit down to eat.
At Brandi’s house her friend Adrienne arrives, and she asks her to help her hang up some pictures on the wall. She wants to try to make her new house homey for her and her kids. Brandi is waiting for her lawyer to call because her ex Eddie is coming after her for nearly $100,000, and he says that he overpaid her. Every time she gets a new book deal – Eddie tries to get money out of her, which she thinks is crazy because he just bought a $200,000 RV.
Kyle and Mauricio are getting ready to take their girls on a family vacation. They take their youngest daughter Porscha shopping to pick out some new clothes for the trip. Mauricio is doing really well in the real estate business and he keeps spoiling their daughters and buying way more than they need. Kyle puts her foot down at the store and makes Porscha put some of the stuff back, because she “doesn’t want to raise a brat.”
Yolanda’s hairstylist is at her house touching up her hair because she is getting ready to leave with her husband to go to Holland so that she can take care of her mom. Her mom is coming home from the hospital tomorrow because she has been undergoing treatment for uterine cancer. Yolanda hates being so far away from her mom now that she is getting older. Yolanda briefs her housekeeper Bianca on her plans and says that she is leaving Bella home alone to fend for herself. Bianca says she is going to check in on Bella – but Yolanda says she needs to be able to spread her wings.
Kim, Kyle, and their sister Kathy head to the bridal shop with Brooke to watch her try on wedding dresses. While Brooke is changing Kim fills her sisters in on her father Monty’s health. He was recently diagnosed with lung cancer and has been staying with Kim while he goes through treatment. They got news that his cancer has actually progressed past Stage 3 – and has spread to his spine. Kim reveals that Brooke is really upset but she wanted to try on dresses anyways so that she can speed up the wedding and make sure her dad gets to see her walk down the aisle.
Lisa Rhinna heads out to lunch with Eileen Davidson, they’ve known each other since they met in the 1980’s and then in the 90’s they worked together on Days of Our Lives. Lisa congratulates her on her recent Daytime Emmy, and Ashley reveals that she is finishing filming her arc on Days and then she is going back to The Young and the Restless. They order iced teas and reminisce about their soap days together.
Kyle meets up with Brandi and they go for a hike and Brandi fills her in on her new house and drama with Lisa Vanderpump. She sent her a save-the-date card for her housewarming party and still hasn’t received an RSVP from her. Brandi decides to just call her and put her on the spot, and Lisa is not thrilled to receive a call from her. Lisa goes up one side of her and down another and tells her that their friendship isn’t going to get back on track because Brandi hasn’t apologized for all the horrible things she said about her. Lisa says that at this point she is not interested in making amends with her – Brandi snaps back that she isn’t going to kiss her ass for the rest of her life. In the middle of their conversation Brandi’s phone dies – so she calls Lisa back on Kyle’s phone. Lisa is shocked that Kyle is with Brandi, and is concerned that the two of them are up to their old tricks. They hang up on each other and Lisa says “maybe” she will come to her housewarming party.
