Magic Mike star Matthew McConaughey and his model wife Camila Alves were married in 2012 – and they have one of the smoother marriages in Hollywood. Matthew and Camila have busied themselves with their rapidly growing family, and already have three children together: Levi, Vida, and Livingston. But, according to a new report, Matthew and Camila have been fighting non-stop and there could be a divorce in their horizon – because Camila is sick of Matthew being MIA and leaving her home alone to raise their kids by herself.
The March 23rd edition of Star Magazine reveals, “The Oscar-winning actor and his wife Camila Alves have been fighting non-stop over his hectic work schedule. Matthew currently has four films in the works, which leaves Camila to care for the couple’s three children.” A Hollywood insider snitched to Star, “Matthew thinks that Camila should be grateful for the great life he is able to give their family, but she didn’t sign up to basically be a single mom. She wants more balance, but he’s refusing to lose momentum in his career. Matthew lived the life of a carefree, wandering dude for so long. Taking so many jobs gives him that alone time back.”
Mr. And Mrs. McConaughey seem to be facing a very popular problem in Hollywood marriages – actors have a seriously difficult time squeezing their families in to their busy schedules. Although we totally sympathize for Camila, nobody wants to be stuck home by themselves with three young kids, she should have known what she was signing up for. We were a little shocked when Matthew McConaughey settled down and tied the knot in 2012, because of his notorious reputation as a bachelor. It sounds like Matthew never actually settled down though, and he is still doing his own thing.
