“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Friday, March 6, hint that there will be some surprises in store for the residents of Genoa City. After Summer’s (Hunter King) meltdown at the memorial, Nick (Joshua Morrow) and Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) will try to get her to calm down. However, Summer will say that it’s all her fault and leave with Noah (Robert Adamson). Phyllis will wonder why Summer would blame herself when Austin was the one who cheated. As for Nick, he’ll never forgive Austin (Matthew Atkinson) for the pain he’s caused Summer.
Kyle (Lachlan Buchanan), Kevin (Greg Rikaart) and Mariah (Camryn Grimes) will speculate about the message on the armoire mirror with Courtney (Kelly Goss) and Abby (Melissa Ordway). When Abby leaves the room, Summer and Noah will arrive. Courtney will say that the evidence seems to point to someone else killing Austin rather than Summer. When the bloody towel comes up, Kyle will try to explain why he lied. As soon as Abby returns, Summer will fly into a rage. Abby will head to Crimson Lights where she’ll discuss her affair with Victoria (Amelia Heinle).
Fighting back tears, Abby will indicate that Austin didn’t feel the same way she did about him. Back at the cabin, Kyle will tell Summer that she deserves someone better than Austin. Once he’s alone, Kyle will wipe the lipstick off the armoire mirror. Later at the police station, Kevin, Mariah, Courtney and Noah will think about the message and figure that whoever wrote it knew they would keep quiet.
At the Jabot lab, Jack (Peter Bergman) will discuss Austin’s affair with Ashley (Eileen Davidson) and she’ll bring up Jack’s alliance with Victor (Eric Braden). Jack will tell Ashley about seeing Victor come out of the confessional.
Over at the hospital, Christine (Laralee Bell) will tell Dylan (Steve Burton) that Nikki (Melody Scott Thomas) was the one who ran her down. Meanwhile, Victor will bicker with Paul (Doug Davidson) about Nikki’s arrest. Paul will claim that he has two eyewitnesses, including Christine and a bystander, who will say Nikki swerved right at Christine. Dylan will arrive and express concern over Christine’s allegations. Paul will say that Nikki targeted Christine, but he shares blame, too. When Paul expresses regret that he let Christine feel threatened, Dylan will urge him to tell Christine how he feels. Later, Victor will discuss the accident with Phyllis and she’ll fill Victor in on Austin’s affair. The revelation will make Victor feel sorry for Summer and he’ll say that Abby can’t be controlled.
Other “Young and the Restless” spoilers for Friday, March 6, tease that after being released on bail, Nikki will pay Christine a visit. Naturally, Christine will throw a fit. Nikki will claim that it was an accident and Christine wasn’t looking. Christine will feel like Nikki’s blaming her for her own baby’s death and scream for Nikki to get out. As Dylan and Paul walk in, Christine will yell that she hates Nikki.
Billy (Burgess Jenkins) will propose to Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan), but she’ll be hesitant to accept. Chelsea will think Billy’s only proposing because he believes Gabriel/Adam (Justin Hartley) has feelings for her. However, Chelsea will eventually be convinced to take Billy up on his offer. When Sage (Kelly Sullivan) and Gabe arrive, Billy will announce the engagement. Gabriel will be a bit flustered by the news and point out that Billy got the wrong ring size. Once Billy and Chelsea leave the room, Adam will tell Sage that it’s her fault for pushing them closer, but Sage will counter that Adam needs to let go so he won’t ruin the plan.
Jack will tell Billy that he thinks the proposal feels rushed, but Jack will eventually offer his support. Stitch (Sean Carrigan) will also talk to Victoria and then weigh in about Billy’s proposal with Ashley at the Jabot lab. Stitch will imply that Victoria’s not over Billy. Sage will bring up the problems in her marriage to Nick and he’ll tell her to follow her heart. Jack will also have a conversation with Adam, but he’ll make it clear that Adam is on his own. Adam will say he intends on doing whatever it takes to get his family back and Jack will note his similarity to Victor. The rumors indicate that Adam will soon try to win Chelsea back so Y&R viewers will want to stay tuned for that. Chelsea will run into Adam and offer him a ride, which will likely give them a chance to talk about Chelsea’s recent engagement.
