The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Dylan (Steve Burton) will do everything in his power to keep “Sully” in his life. He may not be the baby’s true father, but he loves him more than anything in this world. Dylan has been trying to let go, but he just can’t. He feels like his child was ripped away and now he intends to do something about it.
Y&R spoilers say Dylan will meet with Michael (Christian LeBlanc) to go over his options. Dylan knows he wants to sue for visitation, but he’s not sure he can win that battle. Michael will admit that it’s possible, but there are certain hurdles for Dylan to overcome.
Of course, the biggest obstacle for Dylan is Sharon (Sharon Case). Michael will suggest that they have a much better shot of winning if Sharon isn’t in the picture. Dylan will have to decide how much he’s willing to sacrifice for the baby’s sake.
The Young and the Restless fans know that Sharon and Dylan aren’t exactly on solid ground. He was crushed when he found out Sully was actually Christian. It wasn’t just about losing a son. Dylan felt like he’d been living a lie. Sharon deceived Dylan for months and that discovery was a devastating blow.
Dylan always thought honesty was the key to his successful relationship. He believed there were no secrets. Meanwhile, Sharon was hiding the secret of a lifetime right under Dylan’s nose. Their trust has likely been damaged beyond repair.
Dylan has been trying to hang in there and support his wife, but Michael’s advice could change everything. The Young and the Restless spoilers hint that Sharon will be stunned when she realizes what Dylan is considering. This could lead to an explosive argument with terrible consequences.
Dylan may reveal that he wants to separate or even divorce Sharon. “Sully” is just too important to him. Sharon always feared that Dylan would leave her if there wasn’t a kid to tie him down. That’s part of the reason she lied about her miscarriage. Now their substitute baby is tearing them apart.
Nick (Joshua Morrow) will undoubtedly fight Dylan on this. He believes he should be the only father in Christian’s life. Nick has allowed Dylan to see Christian briefly at family gatherings, but it’s not enough. Dylan wants to pitch in and care for the baby like he used to.
Unfortunately, pushing Nick too hard could mean losing all contact with Christian. If the court denies visitation to Dylan, Nick might completely cut him out. It would be tough to reunite with Sharon after he shoved her aside. Dylan may not even want her back anyway.
Dylan could simply decide to leave Genoa City and start fresh elsewhere. Dylan’s exit is rapidly approaching, so that sounds like a plausible explanation. As for Sharon, her heart would shatter into a million pieces. The good news is that better days are ahead.
