The weekly SNL afterparty is always a big deal, especially for the guest host and his/her close friends and family. Thus, unless there was some sort of scheduling conflict we had no information about, it was a bit odd to see Justin Timberlake at last week’s afterparty without wife Jessica Biel. It would make sense if she’s filming or promoting something, but she doesn’t have any new movies coming out until 2014 and she’s not really promoting anything. So where was she?
According to Radar Online, partygoers were buzzing about possible ‘trouble in paradise’ between Jessica and Justin when Jessica was missing from the party. A source explains, “Justin was solo again at the Saturday Night Live after party and he stayed until nearly 5 a.m. Everyone was buzzing about her absence.”
It could very well be that Justin wanted the party to be all about him and didn’t want his wife stealing any of the attention. However, Jessica’s apparently been missing for more than just the party, with the source also adding, “She wasn’t with him at rehearsals on Friday either, which was sort of weird. And it’s not that Justin was flirting with other women or anything at the party but something just didn’t seem right. It was literally what everyone was talking about; whether he and Jessica have split.”
Granted, Jessica wasn’t by Justin’s side during the AMA Awards recently either, although she addressed that on Twitter, saying she was watching from home. Um, why was she watching from home though? Why isn’t she with Justin during these major events, instead of home or wherever she really is? If she has no legitimate excuse, and Justin obviously doesn’t provide any, people are clearly going to jump to conclusions about the status of their marriage.
