Game of Thrones won’t be returning for its 5th season for a while (a long while!), but that doesn’t mean we can’t start talking about the much anticipated return of HBO’s popular fantasy series, which is never short on drama or craziness. If you haven’t yet watched Game of Thrones season 4, or are still behind and don’t want your future GoT experience spoiled, then please consider stepping away from this post. WARNING: GAME OF THRONES SPOILERS EXIST BELOW!
According to spoilers released by WatchersOnTheWall, a new character, who’ll play a pivotal part in Daenerys’s story arc, joins the cast of the show. Apparently, his name is Luther, and he’s supposedly got enough charisma and vileness/cruelness running through his veins to make him a dynamic character who’ll prove to be an antagonizing force in The Mother of Dragons’ life. Spoilers suggest that he’ll be responsible for the outcomes and fates of two slaves in the series.
Speaking of Daenerys’s involvement with the slaves – a storyline that was introduced last season – The Mother of Dragons will continue her epic battle with the slave masters and, according to spoilers, will also makes a tough/bold decision to sentence a slave to death. Supposedly, among an audience of both slaves and slave masters, Daario is instructed to carry out the execution. Afterwards, chaos breaks out. Things get a bit dicey for Dany, and she only has the Unsullied to protect her.
Also in season 5: Arya Stark will journey to Braavos (we saw her board the ship bound for the great land in last season’s finale). There, she’ll be welcomed by an elderly man into the mysterious guild of the Faceless Men. Supposedly, according to leaked scene photos, Arya will find herself in The House of Black and White, surrounded by statues of the gods.
