General Hospital fans have lots of activity of a criminal nature to look forward to in the coming weeks but they have been speculating about the identity of Fake Luke for months now. Although Fluke portrayer Anthony Geary is currently on hiatus, it looks like his identity may be revealed sooner rather than later. The walls are caving in on Fake Luke from all sides, and it really is only a matter of time before someone in Port Charles puts two and two together and learns that he is an impostor.
Jordan Ashbury has been working as an undercover DEA agent for weeks now, trying to learn the identity of Julian Jerome’s boss. Her plan to seduce Fake Luke’s henchman Mickey Diamond went South when her cover was blown and Julian barged in and shot him. However, she did answer a phone call on Mickey’s cell phone after he was shot, and Jordan insisted to Anna that Julian’s boss sounded just like Luke Spencer. Anna wasn’t buying it though, and thinks Jordan must be mistaken. Regardless, she sent Dante out to investigate Luke and learn whether or not he is involved in the Port Charles mob mess.
As if the Port Charles Police Department breathing down his neck isn’t enough, on the August 1st episode of General Hospital, Julian’s sister Ava learned that Julian has been working with Luke Spencer this entire time. Ava actually tried to cut a deal with Luke Spencer, and explained that she wants them to work together. But, Ava is a wild card, and we never know when she will turn her back on Julian and Luke and reveal to someone else who Julian’s boss is.
Right now Luke Spencer’s portrayer Anthony Geary is recovering from back surgery, so he will be off the canvas for a while, aside from video-chatting scenes. General Hospital spoilers tease that Geary will return to the daytime soap in October. With all of the Port Charles mob drama and revealtions going down right now, by the time Luke Spencer returns, there is a good chance some of the characters on GH will already know who the imposter really is.
